First we learn that Chris has control of her bank accounts (that would account for the debt), now it looks like there was another motive for Chris taking an interest in "Elder Care". Not saying it's all linked but that's what it's beginning to look like.

I've been following Chris for quite some time now, but this is the first time I've been convinced that we're dealing with an evil man, plain and simple. Not a buffoon, not a brainwashed mindslave, just a man planning horrific deeds, carrying them out, and bragging about them. Utterly disgusting.

I don't want to be a downer, but considering the multiple publicized stories of DCFS/OCS ignoring child abuse until the child ends up dying, there is a not insignificant chance that Chris will end up back with his mother if they're unable to build a solid enough case against him. However, if that happens there will likely be increased scrutiny on him and Barb.

Given the allegations being made, they're gonna use a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examination) kit to collect evidence. They have probably already done this as part of the "senior care inspection" that null mentioned in the other thread.

I think chris will be permanently removed from 14 branchland given that he doesn't own the home.

DCFS/OCS isn't involved in this. It would be APS (Adult Protective Services). Rape is pretty cut and dry and there are test kits available to assist with the investigation process. Incest between a mother and son is a class 5 felony according to some of the posters here...
