Yes, but they are similar organizations and I can't imagine that APS is any less understaffed and jaded than your typical OCS office. That and mother/daughter incest is not explicitly illegal by VA law, so that might hamper prosecution. If it does go to the courts the case will probably outlive Kiwifarms and maybe even Barb.
 
I wonder if Chris wanted this leaked so someone would do something about his utter depravity; maybe somewhere in the very vast corners of his mind he knew this was wrong and he wanted to get caught.

The laws are written in masculine form, but "she" also applies any where "he" is seen.

Don't disagree they're probably understaffed and jaded as fuck. But this is a pretty fucked up case and it's already blowing up.

Also good to remember Nick Bate was walking around for years openly talking about molesting his sister before anything happened in terms of legal consequences.

I agree that this stuff is serious business, its very clear elder exploitation to us, but there are a lot of elements that make it murky.

We don't really know Barb has said to the authorities, or how she's cooperating, or how lucid she seems to whatever investigators that have talked to her.

Maybe I'm just a pessimistic dude, but it seems to me that the accountability bus is often slow and unreliable.

Having NPD and being a narcissist are 2 different things. He's a narcissist for sure, but since his narcissism isn't causing him distress, he doesn't fit the dx criteria for NPD. Doesn't really matter what the label is, either way a narcissist or an NPD-dx'd person causes distress in those around them.
