Does anyone know if anything was done about the animals left behind at the house? The cats and dog? I hope they had animal services take them.

I have asked a long extensive question in the past about this and one of two things may happen.

The state doesn't give a shit about animals in residential homes, because they're seen as expendable property with minimal welfare rights, they'll probably all die from malnourishment if they don't decide to become strays within the span of a week or so, if for whatever reason Barb isn't back there in the house and she is just too out of reality to not care about food/water.

Or they get chucked in the pound if things escalate further somehow within the coming weeks, so some randoms either adopt them or they get put go sleep, as most animals do if they don't end up leaving a shelter.

This is like a weird parable, or a terrible Bible story.

It reminds me of the story from Genesis, of Lot and his daughters. They escaped the burning of Sodom and Gomorrah, but Lot was so terrified by the experience that he made them live in caves in the hills, and refused to interact with anyone else. He didn't try to find husbands for them.

He was content. He had his daughters to take care of him as he got old. And it's unclear, he may have even convinced them that God had destroyed everyone else.

If people didn't "protect" Chris he probably would have been forced to get real help a long time ago, perhaps even before he killed Bob.

Buddy. There was never any hope for Chris. Every decision he has ever made have in his entire life have been:

• Motivated by instant gratification.
• Selfish and often to the detriment of those who would dare try to help him
• Short sighted and reckless
• Simplistic and juvenile
• Fat and gay.

Any rational adult would have realized a long time ago that a path that Chris was treading lead to nowhere and would have taken steps to pull up and get themselves out of the tailspin they had wound up in. Whether that be a work program aimed at helping those with severe learning and behavioral disabilities get into stable employment, seeking help to monetize the trainwreck of an online presence they had wrought, or even just learn how to keep a house, or even a 70sqft room from turning into a toxic shit heap. Chris has never, not once, ever taken any steps to better himself. Any actions he has taken were always motivated by the 5 characteristics of retard logic he's always followed.

Some people are incapable of positive change because they lack the ability to self-reflect and swallow the bitter pills that are produced from introspective thought, they only ever seem to get worse. It's fascinating to see just how deep the rabbit hole goes for people like this, and I don't think there's anyone who has ever invited the world to join them on their path to a self-realized living hell as well documented as Chris.

You're kidding yourself if you think Chris would have been forced to get real help (unless you mean state mandated help, like prison). He would resist it by any means necessary unless there was literally a sexy girl 80 year old woman spread across a table with "CHINA" tattooed on her ass and a short, simple list of things he had to do to get his bent duck in that hole. and even then he would do his best to half ass them and get them over with as quickly as possible. Fucking his own mother is proof of that. Find a female who is too weak to resist you, can't say no or can easily be ignored, and is incapable of seeking help. As horrible as the situation is I'm glad that it wasn't an animal or a child as both of those would also have fit the bill.

Those who have taken actions to steer Chris away from things that would have made his life worse were simply delaying the inevitable. One thing I wonder about though is Barb's reaction. If she denies everything, says the rape never took place, and refuses to press charges, would it be possible for Chris to return to his house? Chris mentioned using a condom, and there may be no physical proof that intercourse happened. It's hard to imagine that cockroaches like Chris who've bucked the system for so long could actually have any consequences pinned to them. After all, the State of Virginia has been monitoring Chris for years and, other than a few slaps on the wrist and some fines, they've done almost nothing but chat with him and send him on his way, -not that that's ever DONE anything to help him. I know it's super serious this time, but...some people just have a way of slipping through the cracks, especially if they belong to segements of the population that no one gives a shit about.

Another possibility to consider - what if Barb throws Chris under the bus? She may feel shame over what happened, especially if she herself believes it to have been consensual. She may also wish to avoid punishment or a bad reputation. I know it's unlikely, but this is beyond most standards of human decency,and in a dementia-riddled panic, she may just say whatever it takes to make herself look as good as possible.
