I imagine that exhausted sounding front desk worker just told the guy that she'd called the police in order to get the calls to stop.

Chris isn't doing anything illegal by staying in a motel. I mean, sure, he's violated an EPO by stealing the money to pay for it, and quite possibly is violating the EPO by taking the car. You can get arrested for violating an EPO, but that's usually for things like "turning up at the house to threaten someone", rather than "hello officer, one of our motel residents allegedly used online banking to access his mother's bank account and transfer himself some money, no I'm not aware if it's true or not". That sort of violation presumably just gets bolted on in court.

I agree, I hope the subreddit gets shut down before these redditards do more weenery for their 5 seconds of "christory".

This isn't a good look for us.

For a while I thought the "trolls" in this whole saga would be vindicated and seen as having done the right thing in the end by exposing the elder abuse Chris was committing.

Now we have redditfags stalking him and calling the hotel asking that they call the police to make a scene. I just checked out what reddit was up to and the comments are littered with people thinking there's a full scale manhunt for Chris and he's on the run. Making some think a hero redditor found the fugitive Chris and will get a medal or some shit.

None of this is helpful. I know I'm preaching to the choir here but they really need to just sit back and wait for the investigation to take its course. If they really want to get back at him, wait for him to reappear online, he can't stand being out of the spotlight forever.

Who gives a shit, honestly? Trolls have been stalking Chris at McDonald's and digging through his trash for old school assignments for about a decade now. It's the same shit, just done by redditors now.
