Okay, this is what I've gathered about the show based on what Hayden said.

So it stars four characters, but the trans actor is the only one in a LEAD role, but it's not all about the trans actor, but the other three aren't leads, but the shows about four friends, but the trans character gets the main focus, but it focus on a group of people, but The trans girl is the only main one, but it stars four friends, but the trans actor is the...

You know your show is fucked when you can't even explain what it's about as the creator of said show. BTW, he's still uncertain if it'll be a web release or a TV one.

This to me means they aren't even in talks with anyone about it being a TV show and that explains the deliberate vagueness about the most obvious fact about a "new show," that being "where the fuck can I see this modern classic?"

oh my god, the whole "pew pew" thing wasn't so annoying before, but now it's just getting redundant.

He's treating his shitty "jokes" like they're the best in the world, so he has to do his stupid made-up "shots fired" thing so EVERYONE knows how good of a joke he just made. These people are the worst kind.

"Pew pew" is something I would expect a child to say, not a fucking adult. No one would take you seriously if you actually went around saying that after every joke.

I'll admit that I MIGHT find the asian character cute if her face didn't look like it was drawn by a gradeschooler.

She might be cute if it wasn't for that fucking skirt... diaper... thing. You know, if a dude went around with a ♂ on his junk everybody would call him an obnoxious tool. Same goes for this mess. Seriously, I feel uncomfortable looking at it. Thanks for advertising your genitalia.

I come home and check Goldstein's Twitter, and it's got a lot of new stuff.

Spoilered, due to infodump. In chronological order

1.PNG

Still falling for obvious bait.
2.PNG
Well when it can't even capture its target demographic, it's only a matter of time to til it crashes and burns...
3.PNG
What, no "Pew Pew!"?
4.PNG
"Don't like my show? Pedo!"
5.PNG
Not funny. Not even a little bit.
6.PNG
Is that a thing with Canadians, that they like pissed off coffee? Can we get some Canadians to weigh in on this?
7.PNG
It's called Bile Fascination dumbass.
8.PNG
"You disagree with me, so you're smelly! PEWPEW!!"
9.PNG
I only feel hate.
10.PNG
You have no idea how long I studied this tweet looking for grammar mistakes. I did notice an extra period not needed after "an comedian". Does that count?
11.PNG
At least she didn't say "Pew Pew" with this one.
12.PNG
FUCK
13.PNG
You do realize sarcasm doesn't come across well in text right?
14.PNG
"You didn't understand my sarcasm since I suck ass at conveying it PEW PEW!!"15.PNG
So it looks like episode 3,4, and 5 are going to be actually watchable now.
16.PNG
You heard it here folks, she admits people who follow GenZed are literally brain dead.17.PNG
"Nothing says obsessed like responding like a child to everyone who disagrees with me!!!! PEW PEW!!"

tl:dr They're not funny no matter how desperately they try.

Edit: I accidentally posted too soon.

I hope they never introduce Quilliam in physical form because you know if they did, the series would become nothing but him and Shona tweeting and fucking.
I have a feeling that if someone went around saying "Pew pew!" all the time, it be immediately followed by "Snap snap!" as someone broke their fingers.

The "plot" is that they're four online gaming addicts who move in with each other right? Does Hayden ever say what game they play?

A made up game called"Bugz" where you go to a different planet and kill giant alien bugs. Hayden things it would be amazing if the game actually gets made because it's such a unique idea...as long as you ignore the fact that it was both a scene in Wreck-It Ralph and the plot of Starship Troopers.

Huh, didn't think he'd actually explain it. Still, them bonding over essentially Aliens: Colonial Marines is pretty fitting considering how many corners were cut with that game.

I would've guessed a Splatoon! knock-off.

That's a currently trendy fashion faux pas - cutting off jeans and letting the inside of the pockets hang out. :cryblood:

I actually just thought of it as a kind of feminist hipster belt buckle. My mind is still in a semi-innocent state.

Because I sure didn't pick up what game these cardboard cut-outs played throughout any of this. My guess is Splatoon!.

Here's the explanation:
That one game Bugs from this interview,

What sorts of games do the characters like to play?

They favor a game I came up with for the show called Bugs. It involves defending various planets from these insectoid-aliens known as Bugs. It’s a combination of classic 3D arcade game and first-person shooter MMORPG. Who knows; maybe one day it’ll become a real thing. That would be so f’in cool if it did. Can you make that happen? You know people.

So his brilliant, shockingly original and unique idea for a video game is set in outer space where you kill things? Amazingly, it's only been done a million times before.
