I understand how COVID could go from humans to pets or even zoo/farm animals. But how does a virus from China get into wild animals in the US? What is the method it spreads? Did some kid with the coof pet a wild baby deer in her backyard and that became Typhoid Bambi?

In Bidens speech where he announced (actually the wording was "I am asking states" lol) the $100 vaccine reward, he referenced massive national grocery store chain Kroger as his inspiration. Kroger probably had one of the worst responses to COVID, yet was the first to cut hazard pay for employees. This shit really makes me mad, because if it is so dangerous out there that you must wear a mask 8 - 12 hours a day at your job, you deserve hazard pay. I don't care if you're a retarded bagger, or if you work fast food, or you're a plumber/electrician who goes into people's homes, etc. If it's sooo fucking scary, and these people are essential heros, why is that extra $2 such a big deal??
Also Kroger taxed the $100 given to employees so it only came to ~$70 depending on state. Not worth it in my opinion. I just find it hilarious he cited the absolute worst, most money hogging grocery chain. For reference, even Walmart treats their employees better. Most grocery store chains just raised their wages to match the hazard pay permanently.
I'm assuming Biden and Kroger's CEO are buddy buddy, at the very least.

Clown World before 2020 could be represented by that depressing Current Year Joker (played by Joaquin Phoenix), or that one clown going insane in a subway train. Mega Clown World 2020+ could be represented by them wearing "face masks" (and going even more insane).
But just like crap times in the past ended, hopefully this one ends too. And with the "old normal" pretty much back here and in some other places, there's hope that will happen sooner than later. Even if things get worse after August. Especially if more people get sick of it, which definitely seems to be the case.

Because plenty of the posters here live in Authoritarian shitholes like Canada and Australia that have outright told their citizens that none of the bullshit will end, and the masses have just accepted it.
How does other parts of the world being freer and rebelling mean anything for those people trapped in those countries? The Eastern bloc countries during the cold war were horrific, and it wasn't like America and NATO Europe being free meant anything for the citizens of the Soviet Union. Shit, the majority of the pre-2020 world being free didn't make life any easier for the citizens of North Korea, either.
And the only free places in this world are places that one has to make the effort in the span of decades to actually migrate to, so most of us are contemplating that only after 5-10 years of effort at the soonest can we actually live in freedom.

Masks on kids, especially elementary school age and younger, makes me so mad. There's no way it's safe to mask a one year old yet I see parents struggling to keep a cloth mask over their 18mo old baby's face. Why? I'm pretty sure they used to tell parents to never obstruct a child's airways until they're older and can better regulate it themselves.
I also can't imagine being a high schooler right now. No dances, no friends, no parties, no networking, no drama, no vacations, literally nothing but their parents and siblings for nearly 2 years. I would be flipping the fuck out. I would hate my parents if they kept me from my friends this long. And people graduating just got shit all over - no ceremony AND they fudged grades for a year so every D student is now at least at a B even though they didn't show up to virtual school 9 times out of 10. Just bullshit all around

That's pretty much what happened in the FoxTrot comics. I used to keep up with them until Bill Amend went all "New Normal" with them, with pretty much every comic with the family cooped up at home.
But yeah, can you imagine that? No prom? No real life because of this damn scamdemic? I've said it before, but this scamdemic really is a crime against humanity. The tyrants who forced it need to be voted out.
