The EPO is until the fifth, plus there might be taxes or damage deposit, or food etc.

I've seen addicts do this. They stay in the hotel until the stolen money runs out, then half way through their first night in the car they decide to shoplift their way back into a hotel. It's dumb to steal from Walmart at midnight when nobody else is in the store, so inevitably they get popped and go to jail.

The math still doesn't accurately reach. So it's a bit off. He probably did something else to splurge it.

It ain't exactly that much of a stretch to assume that he's carrying it in cash so Null can't just freeze it, yes. Although if he did dump it somewhere, wouldn't the bank itself show that the money was retired from an ATM or transaction rather than show as a receipt that it was spent on the Inn?
