Depending on the county yeah most county jails are glorified camp but instead of camping you sleep in a cell

State prisons are where the real dangerous scum go

Him fleeing to richmond shows that he's a potential flight risk. Not to mention they do have the evidence of the screenshots and the call.

There is no evidence he "fled" to Richmond. He was unable to stay in his own home. Putting the cart before the horse. He's not a flight risk. If you were going to do a decision rubric on the weighting factors of his bail, he is almost certain to be granted bail based on what we currently know.

I feel like her dementia isn't nearly as bad as they've claimed. I know she supposedly plays it up for the camera but when she's in front of a judge, I expect that she'll sober up quick. She's always kind of protected Chris, although when it's her ass versus Chris', it'll be interesting to see what path that takes for sure, if she's the "sober" party here, having consentual sex with your autistic child is a bad look for sure.

I expect the trial to goes as follows:

Chris vs Sober, Consenting Barb: Barb serves time and Chris getting help or put into a mental institution as Chris would be the one being taken advantage of in this situation.

Chris vs Dementia'd, Consenting Barb: Both of them end up being placed in a mental facility as both are clearly unwell. Chris might possibly still serve time.

Chris vs Nonconsenting Barb: Regardless of if Barb is dementia'd or not, Chris would get jail time for either of these scenarios and Barb would be placed into a home.

I believe Chris has at least a 50/50 chance of jail time vs being placed in an institution when all scenarios are considered, if not higher. There is almost a 100% chance Chris is not going to walk out of this unscathed. Depending on Barb's defense and position, even if she was consenting, if she chooses to throw Chris under the bus to avoid any charges herself there is enough evidence with the texts & voice call to back up that she was raped or at the very least, coerced.

When he went to Richmond, he was not charged with a crime. From what I can tell, he was never ordered to stay in Ruckersville. "Flight risk" is a term usually used when deciding whether to set bail and what amount of bail to set.

But you have a point about the call and the screenshots. Those can form the basis for probable cause.

Chris was almost right: but, as per the recent film version, he's ended up not as Captain Marvel, but as Sivana.

Chris won't be sent to jail. There are people that are less convincing at being clinically labeled "crazy" from state standards and they are still sent to a mental institution instead of prison.
Chris is literally mentally challenged according to US law. He is getting monthly financial support from the government cause he is mentally challenged and unable to self sustain. He is crazy and will be sentenced with that in mind. The judge, the jury, they aren't going to question if he is, or isn't crazy, they aren't going to discuss if the evidences show he is mentally challenged.

The state, the government, already did that for them and according to the US, Chris Chan is mentally impaired, there is no discussion.
