Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

To what actual gain? This isn't some vast conspiracy towards an end goal, if they were capable of that they'd not even need to create a crisis to get what they want. A sedate, happy populace is more willing to go along with a gradual change than an angry one and there is no reason they'd suddenly be pressing for an immediate change.

In the end, the truth is something far darker. The 'Elites" are flying it by the seat of their pants. Nobody is at the wheel of the car.

Chock a load of Dem cities with immigrants, push the evicted dems in to an R state. Profit (through votes)

Edit: Even if you're correct - people think you know stuff - that nobody is at the wheel, i refuse, i have to refuse, to believe it. We know Biden isn't in charge, so those string-pullers must have a plan. If they didn't, or they lost control, Biden would be swimmin' with the fishes.

Illegals cannot vote without citizenship, it's the fundamental thing people don't get about the dems general plan with it. It's not the Illegals who vote, it's their children. The whole thing is a scheme around negating the issue of them alienating their voters and the simple fact people get more conservative as they age as a general rule. Yes, the populace trends more conservative but a constant influx of children born to illegals results in a fresh crop of Democrat voters after 18 years. Housing them now does nothing, especially as they will lose those houses when the 'crisis' is up or burnt out. Weeeeeeeell before the minimum 18 years needed for the next crop.

You perfectly illustrate though why the truth is harder to stomach than "The Dems have a secret plan to get rid of us". It's not just Biden's handlers who have no plan, it's the whole Establishment. RINOs and DINOs both. The whole Uniparty. There is no plan. There WAS one, before Trump, and much of the Establishment is going on business as usual as if the plan will still work. But that plan is abstract, a slow degradation and maintained collapse into antiquity rather than some nefarious Illuminati.

All this, all of the suffering and crisis? No plans for this, just flying by the seat of our pants.

People asked when I mentioned I avoid saying the darker shit in here because it's dark enough... what is that dark shit? There you go, the perhaps biggest one when you think about it more and more. Pretty much that. While the movie, rightfully, gets a bit of ragging on for some of its additions. That scene would have fit right in with the original comic for how depressingly accurate it can be in a high tension situation.

It's the other way around, the lockdowns (if they happen) will be used to justify a new eviction moratorium and (very likely) further stimulus handouts. The Dems aren't being forced into lockdowns, they're deliberately trying to engineer a situation enabling them in order to build some measure of traction. As Gehenna has discussed in detail it's basically all about getting any sort of tangible - i.e. normie recognized - political win right now.

I'm more inclined to think they will try to reap the rewards of defeating covid rather than use it for the elections. If this drags into the mid-terms then it -will- be used against them. While forward planning isn't their strong suit, they will generally recognize an issue that will pop up at the same time as their end goal.

Huh? He's Ron DeSantis, Iraq War Veteran. He went to an Ivy League school that the inner DC-types also go to, and with that, he was also in Congress as a Representative.

I haven't followed the money, so to speak, on Ronny D, but his pipeline is identical to the DC folks. Just makes me dubious that a guy on the inside is supposed to be the better of the outsider? And that's just letting the "Boom! He gets shit done! Boom!" memes slide.

I'm hopeful, but the man just really activates my almonds.

Idk it feels like there IS a grand plan being orchestrated by an evil cabal because this renewed push for lockdowns is global, not just in the US... I don't think ~they~ plan on ever allowing us to be free again

It's less where he has been and more who he has been with. While I haven't followed DeSantis a lot, I haven't picked up anything about him palling around with the Clintons, the Obama's, Bushes, or any of the usual RINOs or DINOs.
