Wait, what do you have against fabric softener?

I think the main problem with them is that they were watching it in public. If they managed to completely hide this shit from me, then good for them. They decided, "I'm gonna let the world know I watch a shitty toddlers' show". I can't accept that.
So your solution to all of this is to, to use part of your own words against you, "let the world know that I hate a shitty toddlers' show" and to "let the world know that I hate people who watch a shitty toddlers' show."

I ask again. Have you paused for a second and asked yourself: Does this make me as huge of a retard as the people I am waging a fucking Internet crusade over?

They were all typically nonverbal, except for the occasional grunt or moan.
Chris-chan, too, was triggered by those windows into hell known as low-functioning autistics.

Dude, they're severely handicapped people with the mental capabilities of toddlers. They do not have the cognitive ability to be self-conscious about their choice of entertainment. Only an asshole would look down on what is basically a small child watching entertainment for small children.

It kind of has to do with the unhealthy amount of exposure I had to it when I was in high school and seeing people my age or older partake in watching this shit when they really shouldn't be.
Okay, look. People have different tastes. If the Sped class wanted to watch Barney, so be it.

The problem is that this war against "The Purple Menace to Society" you keep raging about will never happen because you have the mindset of someone much less of your age. And I honestly get the feeling you were placed in those classes for a very good reason.

BTW, is there a reason why they forced you to watch Barney? Or did they just do it to spite you (in your warped little mind, at least)?

Wait, what do you have against fabric softener?
Ok, I laughed.

Why? It's something that they're not telling/forcing you to watch, it's their prerogative. Shouldn't you hate Everybody Loves Raymond more than Barney, then?

The problem is I should not be seeing this in a high school environment. We should be well past this. We should not support a high school that plays a show with an episode called "Let's Play School" after the viewer in question has already gone through about 8 years of actual school and is obviously a complete misrepresentation of what school is actually like.

But again, most of this class was non-verbal so it's hard to tell if it was their decision or just kind of "Hey, let's put this on, it solves everything".
Having to live an environment where they played shitty movies like The Smurfs, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Flubber, Yogi Bear and Hocus Pocus isn't necessarily what I'd call having a quality standard. I went into high school hoping for a new beginning, a new way to allow myself to mature, only to be disappointed when I see shit like Barney still being played for these autists.

I'm sorry, did you even read the posts above you?

These people are mentally stunted. Their age, mentally, is at the level where they enjoy Barney. These people are not you, so why in the fuck do you care what they go through?

Hey, I'm gonna :powerlevel: for a second because you don't seem to get it. At my high school we had this special ed class, and since I was part of the school marching band at the time I and a couple of the other guys were brought in to play Pomp and Circumstance for them while they were graduating. They had their own celebration separate from the main body of students. Why? I dunno, didn't question it, and no one seemed to have an issue with it. When I walked into their classroom, it honestly looked like I had walked into a goddamn Kindergarten class. All of those multicolored folders, the little posters all on the walls, these huge signs and toys and everything that honestly looked out of a day care.

This is the type of people you are insulting, dude. They might be at your same age, but due to autism or some other unfortunate circumstances, they're still at this low mental age. You accommodate for that. Will they ever grow up to be as mature as you (pffff) or me, or frankly any normal person? Probably not. They're probably going to be literal manchildren or possibly even worse for the rest of their lives. That sucks and you really can't do anything about it, but the least you can do, as a human being who has fucking empathy to his fellow man, is acknowledge that and let them be fucking happy.

But no, you wanna beat down on these guys because they happen to like Barney. The guys who probably aren't emotionally ready to understand that a girl likes them or comprehend basic math tables. You wanna shit on a school for trying to make these guys feel happy when are basically slated to have a shitty life due to nothing more than the hand of God deciding these people are the unlucky ones.

Dude, please fuck off. You are mocking people who are no better than kindergartners to make yourself feel better. Fuck, you're mocking them when you publicly admit your love for other cartoons and shitty tryhard metal to the point where you'll inconvenience others with your shitty hobbies. I have seriously met actual toddlers that were more mature than you.

Stop trollshielding off of the goddamn disabled. You are literally :alog:.

You're talking to the guy who calls them "no lifers" and wants to literally kill them for no reason other than that they're mentally disabled. You're not gonna make it through to him.

Didn't you go to a Catholic high school? Surely they taught you something about how what you believed wasn't a compassionate way to think.

Nah, mainly because I wasn't an avid practiser of the Catholic faith, despite me growing up in a Catholic-raised family. And to that other post by Sanae, I really wanna just reply with "tl;dr", but I'll just say that if they really were that way, then they wouldn't have played any of those dadrock concerts I mentioned, nor Wreck-It Ralph nor an episode of Batman The Animated Series, amongst Barney and those other shitty movies I brought up. That's kind of why I hate those now, because I just find them to be just as juvenile as Barney given that's the environment they played them in.

You really don't get it, do you? I'm struggling to find a way to explain this to you. The school didn't do anything Barney related. What did you want them to do, watch people online to make sure they didn't look up Barney, and only stop them if they did?

I want to point out that not only do you spend all of your time arguing about childrens shows, you now spend all of your time arguing about your time spent arguing about childrens shows. Do you literally have nothing better to do with your time?

Why is this thread still going? Why do you keep making it go.

I love how x86x2 has been totally consumed by his own self-fulfilling prophecy. There was no internet-wide Barney trolling conspiracy until, blinded by confirmation bias, he started sperging about it, leading to people purposefully doing it to fuck with him.

What's your major? Has your teacher every told you to fuck off for browsing 4Chan in class?

Not sure what I'm majoring in. And no, I typically pay attention to my slides in class, with my RSS feed on the left side of my screen ready so when an MLP thread comes up, I pop in. There was maybe one time when an MLP thread on /v/ happened while I was in a business course, and I was snickering at the shitposting going on in that thread, and unfortunately, the prof was walking through the halls of the room and caught me, briefly stopped to say "I don't think you're supposed to be laughing in this class". I didn't get in deep shit for it, but it was still a bit of an embarassment.

@x86x2

Were you bullied in school?
No, not really, at least in the traditional sense.
