Blackwater (old PMC employed by the US government) got in a fuckton of trouble after there were leaks of videos of absurd shit they did in Iraq. It was a huge scandal years ago and they got charged something like 4 million dollars, but I don't think any legal action was pursued besides that.Can mercenaries even commit war crimes? By not being soldiers of an actual military they don't get the same protection as real soldiers, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're not bound by the same laws.
