Holy shit, has chibi quit his job for fucking youtube editing?
He did mention that his new job is "salary" though, so either it's a coincidence, chibi has signed some kind of contract, or he has no idea what "salary" means. First and third options being most likely imo.

I think he will get scammed or quit his job because his co-workers were mean to him.

Oh no, don't tell me those big interviews he was talking about a few weeks ago were just discord calls with a runescape youtuber.

Here's the video, it's just... kinda boring and way too memey. But to be honest making a Yu-Gi-Oh! game something fun to watch is a really hard task. Also seems the dude is still trying out different editors so it's not 100% sure that Chibi will end up being the main editor.

On a different note he opened up a new Discord channel where you can post selfies of yourself and at each start of the month he will react to them on stream and will give you wholesome or lewd comments. So if you ever wanted Chibi to give you a sexual comment this is your chance.

I used to edit videos myself so I can tell a lot of time and effort went into making this video. I won't say it's complete shit, but the memes were excessive. I wonder how his next try will do, as the channel owner says he'll have Chibi tone down on the memes.

Screenshots of conversations related to the recent video from his Discord. Not really much discussion about it honestly, but they are suspicious that people in this Discord went over to the video to dislike it, so after having the link posted for a bit, he took it out of the Discord. He also acknowledged the less memes feedback, but doesn't seem to be engaging in the usual pity party antics.

Overall for now it seems he hasn't fucked this up yet.

The Youtuber he's editing for is EZScape (makes top 10 and more fucking video essays about speedrunning), these get anywhere from a few hundred thousand to a million views.
In this stream Chibi says that he thinks the deal was $100 + 50% of whatever the video makes, but doesn't remember.
Sounds pretty good right? Well, I'm going to assume the footage Chibi is editing (basically let's play footage of a YuGiOh game) are getting uploaded to EZScape's secondary channel of like stream highlights.

These get significantly less views, averaging about the 20k range. Kinda seems like Chibi's getting scammed. If this is the lucrative job Chibi has lined up though this is a pretty major fuckup for a man who has property to pay for now (the date does line up perfectly from when he said he would start his new job, August 1st).

I still don't believe corporate would move him up (the man bitches about having a few customers on July 4th, doesn't scream superstar worker to me) and the fact that there was so much argument about the start and end dates of the jobs. Why would there be such issue if he was working for the same corporation? This is just my schizo theory though.
The video is siting at less than 3 thousand views because who gives a shit about a Yu-Gi-Oh game. Hell who cares now it was moderatly popular when i was growning up but not as popular as Pokemon which is and still will be popular. Chibi must of made less than $10 right now.

A highlight from Chibi's latest stream. To give context to the clip, Chibi is playing Wind Waker with crowd control and one of his cronies, EpicPikachu567 (the fucking wet noodle he is), gives Chibi 3 quarters of a heart. Then this nigga swoops in to rectify the situation. God bless.

his smile and optimism: gone

Chibi's video editing was so bad it caused EZScape to lose subscribers and he took the video down.

Honestly I think the real problem here was more him fishing for attention in the YouTube comments and letting everybody know exactly who did the editing. That's not good for YouTubers, the editors generally need to take a backseat and have minimal involvement in the channel and the community outside of editing the videos because then they become a liability. There are only a few exceptions, like PewDiePie and Sive, and that's only because Sive is a reasonable person and a memelord who knows how to manage a community.
