The remorse saga, or whatever you want to call it was an unparalleled error in judgement. I remember when CWC started to post lets plays or whatever and people started giving him Lego money and there was talk of change. The idea guys were absolute criminal degenerates but conflating disdain of weening with actual sympathy always struck me as absurd. All the signs were there, you can find them even before CWC was discovered. People noted that Chris actually hated confrontation and violence, ergo he was unlikely to be involved in horrific crimes such as this one. Yeah, being held without bail pretty much means you're fucked as far as the law goes. Up until now, all of his scuffles with the law had bail, which Barb paid out through bail bonds. If the rumors are true and the state determined that Barb is in a bad enough mental state that she couldn't legally consent, then Chris is going up the river for sure.

Kind of ironic that the place where Chris' life effectively began (Regency Square mall) is so close to the place where it effectively ended (Regency Inn, not far from the mall). It's unlikely he'll ever see 14BLC again.

It's so transparent how empty these defenses of Chris are. It's all just naked self interest.

You can safely assume that every single person arguing for "respect" of Chris's pronouns (or anyone else's, really) is someone who has done heinous things in their lives, and they knew the only way they could ever achieve respect was to force it out of others by taking up a protected identity. They need that forced respect to remain unconditional exactly because they know there would be nothing respectable about them if they lost it. That's always the real driver there. Any explanation they give is a fiction, whether they know it or not.

I hope all my fellow autists can learn to see through this the same way I had to. It's too easy to trust that people are genuine in appealing to some kind of human standard for its own sake. They almost never are.
