It's a reference to Bruce Jenner. In tranny lore, your gender identity is fixed and immutable and has always been the case- in an apparent effort to seem more legitimate. Therefore Bruce Jenner was always a woman trapped in a man's body, and therefore a transgender Olympian.

Of course, troons will also say that you can be gender fluid and be a man one minute and a woman the next, so gender identity is both fixed and immutable AND fluid depending on who you are, so it makes about as much sense as everything else they say and woketards pretend to believe.
