Lol holy shit @ the people mad at me for being right

It's easier for someone like PPP to go two weeks without eating anything but energy drinks and hot sauce than it is for him to count calories. It's much more impressive for someone his size to learn how to control and limit his intake than it is to completely cut out food all together. What seems like the more extreme and hardcore route is literally a ticket to copesville to avoid addressing the real problems. Eventually he will start eating again, and even if he's starved himself down to 200lb, if he eats like he did before he'll be back up to 400 in no time.

Like you guys make fun of my eating out on Friday but eating a single medium pizza is still under my maintenance. Is PPP just not going to eat pizza for the rest of his life?

If he wants to start by fasting that's great. I think really fat people need to be reminded what hunger feels like, real hunger. But he must count.
PPP broke his first fast with this:

brkfast.jpg

Maybe he could post everything he breaks with to show he's breaking the shit food cycle and let people bully him if he breaks with shit food. If he sticks to a cycle of fasting + food like this, he'll lose that craving for fast food after a month or so. The only people I've seen who lost a ton of weight rapidly and put it back on were people who got weight-loss surgery, and Boogie. Everyone I know who's lost weight with diet, exercise, and fasting has an easier time keeping it off unless they go through a depressive spiral and binge, or they're Ralph near an Arby's dumpster.

Are you mad because Ralph was going to be an easy win to dunk on but PPP's a tougher opponent?

Are you saying I'm mad as just some sort of joke or what? I have no investment in this. It's genuine advice. He's doing an unsustainable all-or-nothing binge diet. There's a reason fat people do this. There's a reason I've lost weight doing this. It's much easier to eliminate food than control it.

Can't you just fast to lose weight but then just not eat like a slob and exercise to maintain the weight after? What difference does it make?

Weight loss is thermodynamics. Calories in, calories out. That's it. Everything else is in the head.

Theoretically, yes, you can take a 600 pound man and feed him nothing but hot sauce packets for a few months and then at 200 pounds he can start following a diet perfectly and live the rest of his life at a healthy weight.

Realistically, no. That never happens. If a person is capable of following a diet plan to lose weight, he can do it without a surgery or extreme fasting. If PPP had it in him to cook and eat 1600 calories a day every day, he would not have been almost 400 pounds.

This is all psychological so maybe PPP will simply do exactly what he plans (crash diet by fasting continuously, then eat right), but statistically speaking he would be an extreme outlier among fat people.

Earlier this year I started eating at home almost every day for all my meals. I have been losing 1-2 pounds a week. I was probably 295 at my absolute heaviest in Ukraine, I got down to 275, gained 10 back in Serbia, and then I started dieting again more seriously. I would be doing this with or without a competition. I do not care who wins. I've always been losing weight for myself. I've made this abundantly clear since the beginning. I only challenged Ralph because I thought it'd be funny.

Simply put, I am in a healthy and sustainable lifestyle which is causing me to lose weight. This is a lifestyle I don't mind living for the remainder of my life. I mostly eat at home, sometimes I fast for a day to clear my head, and I order takeout on Friday (which is the day I'm least able to cook for myself). I miss absolutely nothing, I still have something sweet every so often, but because I budget it in I am losing 1kg a week. That's precisely how weight loss should be done. This is the first time in my life I've lost weight this way.

Diet is king. You can run for hours a day and only burn a few hundred calories. That's not even a a single Big Mac. Exercise is good for you, but it is not a key to losing weight. You must refrain from overeating.

As I said before, what PPP is doing is not hard for a fat person to do. He is in a fat person's mindset, which is all-or-nothing. He thinks he can simply starve himself to lose weight, and he's correct, but the concern is what happens after. He won't die from not eating, but his chance of rebounding is very high unless he has a diet he is going to commit to. He absolutely needs to have a diet ready and he needs to count calories so he can get a feel for what ~1800 calories of food a day feels like.

Cool story, bro. Now show us your gunt.

Is it in the right thread this time, you thin-skinned little bitch?

This isn't advice aimed at one in particular. A low-carb, high-protein diet with intermittent fasting and counting your calories combined with exercise will work for most people.

There are some other points to consider with both your exercise regiment and diet. Cardio is king when it comes to losing weight, but you have to consider you body before you start, for example if you weigh 300lbs + then I would advise against something like running as it can seriously fuck up your knees and ankles. Swimming or cycling will be much better for you body and will be more efficient from a time perspective.

There is also some argument over cardio vs weight training, I would suggest you do both but focus on cardio at lest at the start with a progressively higher intensity regiment as your body gets accustomed to your new lifestyle.

As for diet, you should be counting your calories before you worry about fasting or the specifics of your diet. You can lose weight by eating one meal less a week but that weight loss will be slow you will hit a wall with it pretty quickly and you will need to up your game at some point.

Josh does have a valid point about changing your lifestyle fist and foremost and everything else will fall into place. However that doesn't mean that PPP methods are wrong, if PPP has the discipline to maintain then he will succeed.

At the end of the day we all know what we need to do to lose weight it isn't rocket science and what works for you mightn't work for someone else. Losing weight and getting healthy is the name of the game and any progress towards that is good even if it takes you years.

I'm half ass joking dude. It seems you can't tell the difference between folks giving you shit and folks trying to legit shit on you. But then again, i'm sure some folks are actually trying to be shitty, that's not my intention. You pizza eating fatty! (keep in mind, i'm fat as fuck, anything I say to you could go double for myself)

And, posting your pizza day pizza would be funny as hell!

How many calories are in your medium sized pizza and what's your BMR calorie max to lose weight? I see at least 1,700-2,500 calories for a cheese pizza of about 12 inches.

An adult male probably only needs 3 pieces of pizza max (considering 250-300 cals per slice). so maybe half a pie. portion control is what ensures long lasting weight maintenance.

12 inches is a large in Europe (about 32cm).

Like, I know how to fucking count homie. The fucking sticker says 1600 calories. That's all I eat. I'm not binging on a massive stack of US sized large pizzas and guestimating it at about 1000. I'm specifically calculating exactly what I need.

A medium is 248 kcal per 100 grams and the pizza is 658 grams. That's 1,631.84 calories. There's no mystery.

1631.84 calories of cooked broccoli is the same in terms of weight loss. This is not rocket science.

Wtf? No it isn't. Each food is digested differently. For instance how come people that eat nuts don't gain weight proportional to the amount of calories in them? More than half of the calories seem to completely disappear like they didn't even exist. Besides you're not in the competition, you gave up because of he was too mean, remember? Go and cry into your block of cheese and pretend it's steamed broccoli.

While I personally disagree with a PIZZA DAY while trying to lose weight, this statement is absolutely retarded. Nuts don't break the laws of thermodynamics.
