While I personally disagree with a PIZZA DAY while trying to lose weight, this statement is absolutely retarded. Nuts don't break the laws of thermodynamics.

There is speculation that nuts have an artificially high calorie count - that the calculation is wrong due to the studies you mentioned.

Null you should try making tortilla pizzas instead. Dunno if you have access to low carb tortillas in fucking serbia but when I make them with lower carb ingredients it turns out to be about 10-12g net carbs and 300-350 calories for two mushroom/canadian bacon pizzas.

It is quite complicated. Energy comes from fat, carbs and protein and the body utilizes different energy sources differently. There are different varieties of carbs, fats and proteins and all work their own ways. For example fiber hinders energy absorption from carbs.

If you eat carbs, eat high fiber carbs and your body waists more calories than from low fiber carbs. Fat and high fiber carbs also burn slower so you can go longer periods without feeling hungry.

Why? I know what my goal caloric intake is. If I get 1600 calories with my pizza and 1600 calories with your pizza I still get 1600 calories. If I choose to get my 1600 calories with takeout once a week it does not affect my diet.

Sure, if thats how you wanna do it thats how you wanna do it. Just throwing it out there as an idea as that's how I've found I could fit "pizza" into my diet when I get a hankering for it without my only food for the day being an actual pizza.

You can dry and burn poo meaning it contains energy. Not every calorie you eat gets utilizes and the source matter when trying to minimize the amount utilized. If you eat the same energy of sugar and high fiber carbs, you get much fatter from eating sugar.

Nuts are different because your body cant digest whole nuts. If you chew them or grind them, you get the full sticker value. This does not mean the sticker value is wrong, it just means that if you swallow whole ass fucking nuts you can't fucking digest them.

I am talking CALORIES. I am ONLY talking about CALORIES. I am not talking NUTRITION. For the purposes of WEIGHT LOSS, you talk about CALORIES.

In the realm of carbs whites are inferior. The more fiber they have the further away you are from trying to live on candy bars. Feeling hungry while dieting is optional.

I'm assuming bunch of stuff so fuck it. The daily energy need is an estimate what can change based on various conditions e.g. working, idling and sleeping. To make it more accurate it can be changed to cal/s. When your feel hungry your body goes into semi-idle state and you start feeling weak, so your cal/s decreases and thus your daily need decreases. When you eat white carbs they burn fast and you start to feel hungry almost immediately. My hypothesis here is that if you eat slow burning energy and don't feel hungry, your energy need intake is higher than by being hungry. If you eat white carbs while being hungry, they might also get stored more efficiently.

tl;dr you might want to avoid being hungry
