Should the thread be moved to deathfats after Ethan Ralph dies?

PPP at the end of this competition, he's ready.

Good luck both of you!
Everyone loses weight differently and uses different strategies. Getting healthy is more important than a competition.

Whether you would rather lose 1 kg a week or fast and lose 20lbs in a week, do what you find comfortable, effective and sustainable.

I'll be praying for success for everyone participating.

I am talking CALORIES. I am ONLY talking about CALORIES. I am not talking NUTRITION. For the purposes of WEIGHT LOSS, you talk about CALORIES.

PPP is fat. He has his fucking macros, micros, and everything else down pat. He gets enough of everything. He gets too much. It's about calories homie.
Weight loss is thermodynamics. Calories in, calories out. That's it. Everything else is in the head.

Theoretically, yes, you can take a 600 pound man and feed him nothing but hot sauce packets for a few months and then at 200 pounds he can start following a diet perfectly and live the rest of his life at a healthy weight.

Realistically, no. That never happens. If a person is capable of following a diet plan to lose weight, he can do it without a surgery or extreme fasting. If PPP had it in him to cook and eat 1600 calories a day every day, he would not have been almost 400 pounds.

This is all psychological so maybe PPP will simply do exactly what he plans (crash diet by fasting continuously, then eat right), but statistically speaking he would be an extreme outlier among fat people.

Earlier this year I started eating at home almost every day for all my meals. I have been losing 1-2 pounds a week. I was probably 295 at my absolute heaviest in Ukraine, I got down to 275, gained 10 back in Serbia, and then I started dieting again more seriously. I would be doing this with or without a competition. I do not care who wins. I've always been losing weight for myself. I've made this abundantly clear since the beginning. I only challenged Ralph because I thought it'd be funny.

Simply put, I am in a healthy and sustainable lifestyle which is causing me to lose weight. This is a lifestyle I don't mind living for the remainder of my life. I mostly eat at home, sometimes I fast for a day to clear my head, and I order takeout on Friday (which is the day I'm least able to cook for myself). I miss absolutely nothing, I still have something sweet every so often, but because I budget it in I am losing 1kg a week. That's precisely how weight loss should be done. This is the first time in my life I've lost weight this way.

Diet is king. You can run for hours a day and only burn a few hundred calories. That's not even a a single Big Mac. Exercise is good for you, but it is not a key to losing weight. You must refrain from overeating.

As I said before, what PPP is doing is not hard for a fat person to do. He is in a fat person's mindset, which is all-or-nothing. He thinks he can simply starve himself to lose weight, and he's correct, but the concern is what happens after. He won't die from not eating, but his chance of rebounding is very high unless he has a diet he is going to commit to. He absolutely needs to have a diet ready and he needs to count calories so he can get a feel for what ~1800 calories of food a day feels like.

This is completely wrong. "Calories" don't exist. They're an imaginary unit of energy measurement. Your body burns "ATP" not "calories." So any food you eat needs to be converted to ATP to be used as energy and different energy sources (carbs, fats and proteins) have different chemical reactions to become ATP, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citric_acid_cycle . What this means is eating 1000 calories worth of carbs is not the same as 1000 calories of fat.

With regards to weight gain and weight loss. Carbs have a higher insulin response than fats or proteins. https://www.lowcarbdoctors.com.au/w...9/03/Screen-Shot-2019-03-12-at-2.34.24-pm.png If you have insulin resistance then that high insulin response will force your body to store the carbs into your fat cells rather than transport them into your muscle cells. So despite eating at "maintenance" level, you actually don't have maintenance level of energy in your muscle cells so you need to compensate by eating more, above maintenance and that is what triggers the weight gain. So obesity is directly caused by eating carbs and only indirectly from eating too many calories. Hence the correct weight loss strategy is to change your diet from carbs to fats and proteins which is why everyone is switching to keto (formally known as atkins) and carnivore diets.

If you're fat, you can cut calories and lose some weight but you'll notice your energy starts decreasing and eventually you hit a plateau, the same problem that caused you to overeat in the 1st place. It's not a sustainable strategy in the long-run and that's why people eventually stop, get fat again, start cutting again, etc = yo-yo diets.

As for fasting. That's just putting you into ketosis so if you like the feel of fasting, that's a sign you need to change your diet from carbs to fats.

"Im so edgy for pissing of random people in a thread by being annoying."
You get so mad dude.

I'm just having fun and sharing some laughs. No edge necessary. Besides if I got thread banned for something low effort like @ing Null I wouldn't be able to keep you company.

Edit: yes ban the whole thread and let me be the only poster. YES! YES!!!!!!

Josh you autistic fat fuck how you ever gonna get a wife and kids if you're fat serious question here. @Null
No woman would ever be interested in a weirdo who spends all of his time moderating a site that's dedicated to stalking other weirdos. Even if he was as thin as a rail it wouldn't matter, Josh is a fucking loser and a whiny bitch who will stay celibate for the rest of his sad and pathetic life.
