Megathread Random Thoughts & Questions - ADF

We all know Phil's pronunciation of Spanish leaves a lot to be desired, but how does Phil pronounce the Xs he substitutes As and Os for? Like, how would he pronounce "juntxs?"

What I want to know is: can ADF smell himself? Tweaker, Skarrlet, and Erin all agree that he's pretty rank and the smell is all but ineradicable. But does he realize this, is he ignoring it, or has he been so dirty for so long that he's immune to his own smell? I've gone unwashed for long periods of time when I was really, really isolated and depressed, and I knew how gross I was and never got used to it, not even a little bit. But then, by all accounts Ahuviya hasn't had regular shelter or access to washing facilities in at least three years. Maybe after a year or so you don't notice your palpable stench anymore...

I find it hard to believe that he wouldn't realise that he reeks. Clearly his odour is another valiant stand against straight white males, who are trying to oppress him and stop him from expressing his identity as a latinx womyn of colour through the medium of horrifying smells. Those stench-ists.

A bit late, but what exactly do y'all mean with "self care"?
I never gave it much thought because I thought it means eating junkfood and/or masturbating, but apparently it has a deeper meaning.

Self-care, as practiced by Phil and the SJW crowd, is just another excuse (similar to the 'intuitive eating' BS used by the fatties) in order to excuse self-indulgent behavior.

Edited because I agree with @tweaker the cat . There is a distinction between legitimate self-care and the variety that Phil and his ilk practice.

So, like a lot of words co-opted by the social justice hivemind, the concept of self care genuinely has a place in legitimate psychological circles. But now people like Ahuviya use it to talk about stuffing their fat face with ice cream and milk shakes. Healthy self care is doing things like yoga or exercise or tai chi. Some people meditate. Self Care is just a thing that you do to take care of yourself and try to reduce the stressors that cause anxiety and depression.

"Self-care" is a concept in the management of chronic diseases, and it concerns the ability to perform very basic tasks such as feeding, hygiene, and toilet function. By these criteria Phil is a total failure in self-care and should be put in a group home.

Why does Phil use the tern latinx as a gender neutral version of latino and latina when the word hispanic? Is Hispanic problematic?

Ftfy. With all the "self-care" he does and the complete lack of hygiene he's headed for a wretched and miserable end to his life. And I for one look forward to seeing it play out.
