If I may ferretsperg, it’s rare to see a ferret older than 6 years old unless they had been seen by a vet early onto symptoms appearing, properly medicated and treated, and you go for daily check ups then on. Ferrets have an abundance of health problems (adrenal disease, lymphoma, & insulinoma to name a few) that show themselves in a myriad of ways but most commonly sluggish/dazed behavior, balding, and/or unusual growths ie tumors are a serious sign something’s wrong. Of course, if they didn’t properly research and put a couple grand away for vet emergencies, most people either look to putting them down or forfeiting rights & giving them to a shelter that can give them the proper medical care they need.Inb4 the ferret dies of “old age”.
Pretty sure the ferret is 4 but I could be wrong.
