I feel an oft-overlooked aspect is that they also want them hurt in *very* specific ways. They want them unemployed, but still capable of accessing twitter so they can lament it. They want to be able to actively observe the suffering much like how we like watching lolcows, but unlike the Farms they're actively campaigning to create as many of these suffering people as possible. Whenever they succeed at destroying someone, they move on to the next target because that destroyed entity is no longer fun. Its like a child killing ants, they need to keep squishing more or it stops being interesting, but they want to watch the ants run around cut in half as long as they can.

If a million conservatives just ceased to exist tomorrow, no sight of what happened, it wouldn't be a win to them. They want to see a million conservatives in bread lines on twitter complaining that bread lines are miserable.

That I'd agree with, but there is a lot more planning involved in this than you'd think. Bringing illegals over for effect requires them to have a method of bringing them over, a repeated effort to keep them there, careful consideration of where to put them for best effect in 18 years, etc. To keep with the battle analogy, they apply a lot of planning for the battle, but very little concern for how winning a battle will affect the war.

Speaking of war and the border, since you seem to have your ear to the ground, do you see a point at which some of the more threatened (financially or physically) people in the border states reach a breaking point and start shooting migrants?

I've been hearing some of the interviews with ranchers in Texas and the way they describe their situation, it seems like it'd be extremely tempting for them to get together with their neighbors and remove the migrants by force. So many miles of empty desert and ranch land, combined with the sheer volume of migrants, would probably leave Border Patrol stretched too thin to get a handle on the situation before the damage was done.

Just focus people's energies on one thing at a time, don't force them to do anything, but make them feel part of something. We had that a little at the start but it got pissed away fairly rapidly.

You made a good point here; Trump would go for the throat and throw in some low-brow insults about Joe, but DeSantis brings the same brawler spirit and augments it with hard facts. I've seen him do this a lot in pressers, whether his opponent is a journalist or Biden. He sneaks in the actual thing he wants the media to try to refute, which Trump was very skilled at doing, but DeSantis just has a better handle on the details, so I think it's an even more effective tactic for him.

Because they played themselves. The short version, going by the numbers, the majority of Democrat base voters bought into the idea that Covid was the next Bubonic Plague. Due to a series of poor choices, the Democrat establishment's grip on their voters is getting more and more tumultuous, a big shock would be enough to fracture off entire chunks of the vote.

Don't get too excited about this one. His "major evidence" is a grainy video that showed the wireless components were turned off in the bios while making vague accusations about who has bios passwords (if i'm not mistaken the state holds them) and grandstanding how his operative is risking his life to get that video to him (lol). I can't speak for the hardware used in these particular setups but the wireless components are normally removed as well.

Imo the machines were remotely accessed is a complete deadend route where the focus should be on tracing ballots. Much easier to show up with mystery boxes of ballots then hacking the mainframe and altering results.
