English has even been dumbed down significantly over the years to be easier to speak. A lot of the tenses and cases were removed over time, making it among the easiest languages to pick up, especially if you come from a language which uses the Latin alphabet.

You may be mangling grammar so badly that you'd make any English Lit student cringe, but you can generally get your meaning across. I consider it far easier to pick up than say, German, Mandarin or Russian. It's so easy that most brownskins in SEAsia generally is conversant enough to answer you in broken English.

To master English now, that's an entirely different matter.

Most of them don't complete the treatment. First, they tend to use their charm to try and explain that their partner, and not they, are the problem. And when the psy tries to question and confront them with their own behaviour, they get annoyed and never return.

"Our" trannies may not be outright psychopaths, and certainly not of the intelligence and viciousness of a Hannibal Lecter, but they show some of the makings. Wedge, Cucumber and Ripley certainly do.
