- "I was quoted a certain amount of money for that loveseat...so I approved that amount of money and then when the loveseat was delivered two weeks later they billed me more money, and I said, 'Why are you billing me more money? Oh, well, this is the cost of the loveseat', I was like, 'but that's not what I agreed to, I agreed to this amount for everything', and apparently the salesman had lied to me." (He never fails to get scammed even when the transaction is as simple as money for a couch)
The problem with this whopper is that, if true, then you don't accept delivery.

I hope you are aware that in fighting game community if you only jab all the time and opponent doesn't block/counter you may jab all you want? Just watch any game of fighting game champion and look at the combos he is performing. In 2D games like SF2/3/4 or Mortal Kombat there is something called sequence that is unblockable or takes high price to counter it so usually you will see a combo that takes around 1/3 of opponent's health before he counterattacks.

In 3D games like Virtua Fighter or Tekken there is extra dimension that allows to dodge attack and also adds totally different mechanics for open and close stance of warriors. For example, Hwoarang in Tekken has totally different moves for open and closed stance which makes him the most demanding character to play.

I don't mind DSP spamming one combo all the time. If it works that means it is the most optimal move sequence with least frames to take for the most efficient attack.
I hope you are aware that my problem isn't with what DSP does, it's how he reacts to other people doing the same thing he does. When he spams the same move over and over again, 4 times every round, it's a valid tactic. When others use a particular move twice in a round, he bitches and whines about it and acts as if it's not a valid tactic to win a fight and they're scrubs.

EDIT to drive the point home:

What's great is that, because he relies upon OiC so much, he has to swallow the fact that 1) he got trolled, and 2) it was by someone who fucking trolled themselves in the process.

You think Phil likes being reminded that his biggest supporters are glue-sniffing retards who don't actually like him? I doubt it. We saw how tilted he got when someone dared suggest that a lot of his tips are to own the detractors. Once again, Phil may accept the money, but he hates how and why he gets it. It's not good enough to get paid, you have to stroke his ego too.
"The camera is closer and lower to the ground, this means that the quality of the webcam is actually going to be better instead of being further away."
Phil's idea of a clearer image lies not in upgrading his equipment, but in simply moving it.

But we totally don't live in his head and dictate any of his decisions.

"See that's good Cool Channel says 'I don't understand.' GOOD! If you don't understand that's actually means you've been doing the right thing. You're not putting on a tin foil hat and going to weirdo conspiracy sites and wasting your time. Nuhuhuh. You've done the right thing! The truth is, the reason that this happens, that that conspiracies get drawn up is because there's nothing dramatic going on on my streams. If you haven't noticed, take a look at my streams the last you know few weeks have been good. Chill streams, fun content, GamePass stuff has been successful. Everyone's having a good time. 'Oh man, well we gotta- we gotta try to fucking you know ruin that one. We gotta put a stick in the mud here. How can we ruin that? Well let's make shit up. Okay!' NO. I don't play that game. So fuck that shit. Nuhuhuh."

Holy fucking Cult Leader. Stay ignorant, paypigs. Don't think for yourself. Everything is going great! Streams are fun and chill and successful. There is absolutely NO drama going on.
Appearantly its cool to be ignorant.

Phil's rant about zelda got me thinking, If you are a true legitimate fan (God Forbid) how can you follow any of his playthroughs? I mean lets say your watching fallout for example and Phil decides the he is going to wait a week for the next stream of fallout, What is the point of coming back and watching the stream if he isn't going to play a game in a timely manner? Other streamers play the same game consistently because they know that their fans wouldn't want say Doc to play warzone once a week and then play random crap in-between.

That's going to be a lean in

there is a reason that no one else really does the same streaming method as Phil.

Phil's "random super" complaints are still some of my favorites, just because of how much nonsense it is. As if you're supposed to adhere to some strict set of rules before you use a super.
I'm no "Former Pro Fighting Game Player" or a "Top US Player of 2004" but you typically want to hit confirm into a super, or if it's multi-hitting (like Chun-Li's), end a combo with it as damage scaling usually has special properties on Supers (50% in SF4 and I think it's completely unscaled in 5).

But getting hit by a random super says more about your play than it does your opponent. If he knows you suck at blocking, reactions or video games in general (as Phil does), a random super is totally fine.

The problem is he bitches when other people do the exact same thing.

He sounds legit like a nervous wreck in this prestream, from talking faster than usual to slapping his legs more often to drinking more "water". I love it.
The slow stints in DSP happenings are always worthwhile because of little things like this. Watching Phil tremble like a leaf at the slightest bad news to remind you just how precarious his situation is.
OIC leaving the Goutosphere would be fucking devastating. He’s so fanatically loyal that he’s one of the whales who will drop huge donations right after a scam, like when Phil got the new Xbox. A high Tips Goal lets Phil pretend nothing’s wrong, and OIC further protects piggy’s ego with gifted subs and subbing with sock accounts, to pretend the fanbase is bigger than it actually is.
It’s doubtful Coffee is “done” with Phil, he’s way too invested to just leave all the attention behind, but I just like the reminder of how much Phil depends on this one viewer. Taking care of Phil is a full-time job and one that bleeds your wallet, it’s fun to watch people literally destroy their futures for him.
And furthermore, if he does come back, we know that Phil is complacent with having a confirmed doxxer (something Phil has called a literal criminal) for a mod as long as the money keeps flowing.
Great relationship, you two!

"Guys, I don't talk about chargebacks anymore, ok? But they keep happening, I keep getting chargebacks"

Next sentence

"But the security methods I put on my streams prevented the chargebacks, so they don't happen anymore. As you can see, I don't receive large tips saying insulting things anymore."
