It’s not fun to think of Chris as legally sane, but autism aside there’s really not a ton to say. You could argue that 15+ years of trolls and sycophants have wrought havoc on his mental capabilities- and in the unlikely event this goes to trial his lawyer probably will- but that’s a fat gamble and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if a judge or jury, let alone a shrink, didn’t buy it.
The absolute best move for defense, if it comes to it, would be to say that Chris’ autism meant he was unable to understand the relationship he had with his mother and appreciate the consequences (let alone legality) of his actions. But even that’s not without risk

Either way, Chris isn’t insane, as weird as he is, and especially in an overburdened system he almost certainly isn’t getting institutionalized

Assuming that Barb never goes back to the house, I imagine that much of the crap inside will either be auctioned off or trashed. fortunately, this isn’t exactly the case. plenty of criminals smile in mugshots, act belligerent during their arrests and court dates, pretend to hear voices in interrogations, and display extreme callousness in a bid to plea insanity from the very start of their processing. law enforcement and the legal system is used to this behavior. everything chris is doing right now will be framed by the prosecution as chris conveying a dangerous lack of empathy and carelessness towards the wellbeing of the victim — who also happens to be his physically fragile, likely very sick mother. in conjunction with chris attempting to cover up the crime to doctors/friends/the public, this will probably only make his situation worse.

chris would have been better off crying for his mommy, acting confused or scared, etc. at least then he could have a chance to plead the sad tard defense and maybe garner a shred of sympathy... until someone reads the evidence, of course.

Did you watch the video? Varg pointed out that, while Norwegian prisons are safer, they're also more isolating and alienating.

Also, Varg Vikernes is definitely a lolcow in his own right and well worth looking into if you enjoy reading about human trainwrecks like Chris.

As someone who knows the vintage toy market (Slight PL, I worked at a comic shop for a while), some of Chris's stuff is actually worth good money, even in fucking dogshit condition. A Vintage megatron ( even in the terrible condition his is in) could easily sell for $200. He likely has dozens of Lego mini figures worth 50-60 EACH.
Throw in the "Value" of being one of Chris's possessions, and the content of 14BC could easily be used to pay off their debts.
