Caught this through CBC yesterday, but it's starting to get funny when you get Canada (well, Alberta) of all places coming out with stuff like this:

The usual culprits are naturally demanding this woman's head on a spike after singing her praises earlier this year (search Calgary's mayor's comments regarding her over the months for some major whiplash), but it's interesting to finally see some measure of rationality being introduced. She blatantly states Covid is not going anywhere, that all the testing and public safety measures are unsustainable, and - most surprisingly for such an official - emphasizes how its effects don't even exceed a typical flu year.

There's hope yet to finally break through this nonsense.

Forgive my ignorance can I just go to an urgent care and request an antibody test?

You can get one for free by donating blood. If Red Cross isn't testing you can always go through another organization like One Blood.
It takes a few days for the result to come back.

I wouldn't do it if you think you actively have it though, antibody tests only work once your body has started producing the coronavirus-specific antibody.

One last post on nurses/doctors providing shitty care and wishing death on their patients - this is why health care in America fucking sucks. It's not necessarily the insurance companies or greedy hospitals, though they do play a part, a lot of it comes from people who just shouldn't be in medical care. Example:

It's gonna get 50x worse once leftoids finally get their way and throw us all onto socialized medicine.
Imagine the worst nurse you ever had, the worse teacher you (or your kids) ever had and the worst DMV clerk you have ever had to deal with.
Now imagine that nurse, with the attitude of the DMV worker and the borderline immunity from being fired as the teacher.

Huh, you're right, so they're not. I don't see why not since they're already taking blood samples for the other tests they do. Are the tests too expensive or cumbersome to run on every donation? Aside from something on their FAQ page that says they stopped antibody tests on June 25th, I can't find anything explaining the reasoning behind this.

Regardless, blood donations are still a good thing to do.

My tinfoil hat theory is that because some vaccinated people took the test to find out if they had antibodies (to see if the vaccine was working) and freaked out when they didn't have any, they are discouraging people from doing this.

Most of us refusing to get the vaccine are also refusing to participate in the testing schemes or using the apps or QR codes. I got tested last week, but got a friend who is a Nurse to arrange the test and submit it under a fake name, results went to them, they passed them to me. It's not been linked to my medical file, and I wasn't sick in hospital.

I've had an antibody test done when I donated platelets and blood a few months back, but that's it. I'm not one of these spastics testing twice a week on the off chance I can get ten days off subsidised by gibsmedats because I'm not a fucking louse.

Stop getting tested unless you're really sick. Stop playing their game - I guarantee in the UK, at least, once the eternal gravy train dries up in September, people will stop buying into the bullshit anyways, as there will be no financial incentive to get a positive test.

Something to pick up on here that is very important. They are still not treating people with COVID. Go look at the CDC guidelines. Well, I've been talking on and off with someone I care for quite deeply that decided getting a double dose of Pfizer was a good idea. I..really hope it's just me being overly suspicious or jumping at shadows, but I swear she's not quite as focused? thoughtful? as she once was. I've known her for quite a number of years, so I've got a pretty good "normal" sample size to pull from, and..man, I just can't shake the feeling that the jab fucked with her ever so slightly. It's been months since she had it now, too, and this pattern of behavior is just not going away.

No. If you even bring those two drugs up, the nurses will commence the eye rolling and doctors will start treating you as if you're a schizo. Hospital staff in general fucking hate it when patients start getting uppity, asking for extra help or certain medications or correcting a mistake on their records. Anything other than laying there and saying thank you is seen as being combative. Look at that article with the football player, sounds like the doctors starting being straight up rude and dismissive even as the kid was dying before them.

Can confirm. It's even better if you have a "rare enough no one remembers more than a single sentence about it from med school" condition. You can actually be better versed in something than the medical staff and they will still try to treat you like you're a big dumb-dumb. I'm sure this goes both ways (and I pity genuinely hardworking ethical medical staff who have to put up with WebMD armchair physicians), but it's enough to keep me away from hospitals unless something is seriously wrong. Terrible way to handle it? Probably.

Forgive me, but I felt this was warranted.

What's most infuriating about all this is, there will never be any justice. TPTB, from the elites to local mayors, who's actions have killed millions, destroyed countless businesses and economies and permanently crippled an entire generation of children and have both encouragingly and forcefully injected entire populations with what's basically an experimental poison, will get away with it scot-fucking-free. And that's even before getting into the communist bugmen country that intentionally released the plandemic in the first place that has not even gotten so much as a slap on the goddamn wrist.

Even if the curtain did somehow fall, so what? It'd mean nothing. Some expendable sacrificial lambs will be thrown under the bus to absorb the blame and any real attempts of some righteous revenge will be met with the same extreme response that happened with the CNN building last year. No French style executions of the powerful for us.

The only real "good" ending that would happen is if, in 20+ years or so, historians look back and realize how much of a deliberately facilitated disaster this all was, long after the perpetrators of the event are all dead and the unfathomable amount of damage they caused has been permanently set in.

Should you ever dare to look into literally any other major crisis or disaster and compare what actually happened to the one we're living through right now, you will always see the same trend. There never is any actual justice. Never. Yes, really..never. And I don't say that with a hint of doomerism, if you can believe that. It's just fact. What you described is quite literally the cycle to it all.

I shared a video previously that had some great info from 2 doctors group that shared information about the protocols they were following, along with data about the outcomes and other useful info. At a minimum, if you are being treated for covid please lookup 1 or both of them printed out to share with your doctor. They may have never even seen the info, and it's presented in a way that isn't "I looked this up on webMD, listen to me!"

Remember you can find another Doctor if yours dismisses you entirely. There are also groups that will help you connect with doctors that are following these protocols through online portals for a teledoc visit. You are not stuck with the shit doctors in your area only.

And there is always the treating yourself option. You can't get HCQ without a doctor, but you can deworm your horse with ivermectin paste right from amazon. Read the reviews, they are hilarious about how to dose and treat your "miniature 150 lbs horse" <wink wink>. The data coming out of india for ivermectin is pretty fucking solid.

There are options. Be prepared, or be a tiny stat on BigPharma's next quarterly profits report.
