And then I read on and see a guy in college arguing about the calories of a pre-drink....dude, that's why you don't get on with 'normies' it's cos anyone seriously douchey enough to bitch and moan because his vodka's mixer has calories is a fucking weirdo with waaaay too much time on his hands.

No, that is to do with being serious about health and fitness. A very large number of people who are serious about their fitness track calories unless they are injecting copious amounts of drugs. Alcohol has a lot of calories and a one night binge could easily screw up a few days of small deficit. Regular drinking could easily screw up a weight loss plan and stop you from making the progress you should be making. You can even check the soccer mom weight loss/fitness forums and you will see similar posts, personal trainers will talk about calories, a large number of normal people who aren't "weirdos".

So in this case I think you're wrong.
