We know for a fact that she's unfitting for work, maybe even basic human living, she might even slip on the bathroom floors and die which is quite the waste, and also her cousins might not even take her since to be honest, she's probably no less or more better than Chris... right..?

The big tip-off is, as near as we can tell Barb is either still in the hospital, or she was sent to a nursing home. it’s been a week that she’s been in for evaluation, and she originally didn’t have any known medical issues. This almost always means her Doctors and Hospital Social Services don’t believe she is fit or able to care for herself or live alone. And like I said in another thread Barb is a very old looking 79. If she enters into long term nursing care she probably will not be coming out.

As someone who has actually been to jail and knows a lot of people who were also in jail (and many of whom are still there,) The next few decades are going to suck for old Chrstine/Christian.

Let me explain.

Chris is presumably not doing too well financially- the Financhu Crisis has been going on for eons and at this point he's got no one really left in his life. Maybe Cole Smithey and a couple trolls, but that's about it. He's gone and fucked up his family dynamics (literally) and he's gone and ruined any financial lifelines he has. In prison, in order to buy things from a prison commissary, you need people to put money on your books.. Who's gonna do that? He can't get Barb to send him any money (she's not able to) and God knows if Smithey even cares or wants to help Chris at this point? That means he's operating on basic bitch mode. No ramen noodles, no snacks, no fun stuff. Maybe Chris can get money put on his books by a few weens or white knights, but I wouldn't bet on it as a source of prison income. Either Chris had better get really friendly with some of the other inmates, or he had better get good at prison living and make any money he does get last. Neither is gonna happen, knowing Chris. Best case scenario, he finds someone in prison who can whip his ass a bit and get him to get his shit together. It's happened before.

What's really gonna suck is coming out of prison. The house (if he has one) isn't gonna pay itself off, and Chris has no money. Time to get a job, because mommy isn't paying for anything anymore- oh wait, he's an ex-con. Fast food's off the table, as is any other work Chris might want to actually do. Nobody's gonna buy Sonichu merch anymore, so this means he's gotta either find some under-the-table, no-show work with some construction teams (and speaking from experience Chris ain't up to that shit) or he's gotta find a great place to start washing dishes at. It's gonna suck, and he's gonna need to grow up damn quick if he doesn't wanna be homeless.

In short, this is the fucking END of Christory. The happy times are over, and Chris is going to need to figure out just how much he wants the last 40 years of his life to suck. It can suck a little or a lot, but it's ultimately up to him. Chris got himself into this shithole, it's up to him now to get himself out.

You have to wonder what condition she is in physically, too. Bob's death was under fairly horrific conditions, with the general neglect leading to things like insects biting and eating him while he was still alive. There's absolutely no way Chris has been checking any of the care boxes for her he should be, and how likely is it she's capable of handling her own basic self-care necessities like properly bathing? Slap on top of it Chris has been having his way with her barbussy and I think it would be a miracle if she wasn't in such terrible shape wherever has her wants to hold onto her for quite a while, if not permanently.

Are we going to have access to court records/minutes if this is in JDR court, or are we going to have to rely on what the press gives us?

Honestly he'll be lucky if his shit foolery convinces the courts to put him in some kind of long term care facility. Knowing he'll be dead within a week or two in prison, will never ever learn to get with "the program", and will never join a work detail, vocational training or do anything to try to prepare to reintegrate into society. Thought to be fair it's not like Chris was integrated into society before anyway.
