Plagued Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

Lol from watching the video @NoReturn posted, this doesn't appear to be much of an exaggeration.
OW! The fremdschämen! It's so bad! It hurts!
This too:

Hailey here has something going on. She's excited about a spork.
An avatar of the god of consumerism maybe?

Between the $5000 for three days mentioned earlier, and the $4000 for seven hours in the video above, I got curious and wanted to look into what you said.
I didn't want to PL by using my own location, so I went to MapCrunch, asked for two random locations in the US, and got Wisconsin and Oregon. So starting from Wisconsin, I'm going to pretend you have a partner with you and you guys have a friend to drive you to the airport.
Kayak says flight + hotel is going to run you ~$2k for a full week's stay. That gives you $3 for just doing shit during that week. Kayak also quotes a week's car rental for ~$200. Then I just googled "Things to do in Portland" and found a bunch of tours and day trips.
Honestly it seems like you'd get bored before the week is up if you stayed in the one city.

I don't know if it's been posted already and I don't feel like looking but Disney has their own gated communities on park called Golden Oaks.

https://www.disneygoldenoak.com/ You're paying in the upper two mils to have houses and properties themed with Disney shit. The Star Wars thing is one matter and cringy as fuck but that truly takes the cake.

Wait, you thought they were going to give you the Disney theming for free? You poor sap.

I would have gone absolutely berserk for this if it had been available when I was 6.
The thing I fucking hate about the excessive coverage about star wars is that Indiana Jones is completely left in the dust without a respectable ending while Star Consoomerism has uninspired entry after uninspired entry every year.
"The Last Crusade" was a respectable ending.

That's small potatoes compared to the whole cities Disney owns: Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista

They both even have their own schools and infrastructure

Hyperfetishizes gay men + severe untreated mental illness --> body dysphoria --> troonout. This is actually depressing to watch in real time. I remember when she was just a cute middling comic artist.

Fujoshis are literally the female equivalent of autogynephiles.

This is just a bunch of moderately successful spergs on vacation, not really consoomer-tier unless they’re going twice a year or spending thousands of dollars on merch.

On topic:

How much do you want to bet that this hoard of garage queens are going to put this man in lifelong debt?

Jeez, look at those dead eyes. Talk about NPC.

Something about her makes me feel kind of sad. She's so young, yet she fills the void in her soul with lots of cheap mass-produced corporate merchandise. Clearly her family is enabling her. Maybe they mean well, but it still feels off. She doesn't seem like a bad person, but misguided and empty.

As cringey as her Disney fanaticism is, I can't bring myself to hate her. I hope she finds real happiness and fulfillment someday.

I think the problem with a lot of people on here is that they have no framework for greater fulfillment—in spirituality, intellect, accomplishments, interpersonal relationships, etc. Popular media doesn’t value those things and they’re not plugged into communities that do, so they don’t even understand what exactly they’re missing, though I’m sure they do feel hollow.

I was born at the right time to be a Star Wars fan, and this held up even when there was little new Star Wars content from the mid 80s-late 90s. I bought the new Kenner figures they put out in the mid 90s, etc. And man was I pysched for an actual new movie, so much so that I had tickets with friends for the midnight showing of The Phantom Menace.

Needless to say, I haven't seen the Phantom Menace even once since that night in 1999.

So from then on out, I knew Star Wars was trash. I skipped Episode 2 (and have still never seen more than a couple minutes of it), liked Episode 3 a little better but from then on have no interest in anything Star Wars. However, compared to the consoomerist Disney Wars (haven't seen 1 second of any of them and won't), the prequels now seem like works of art. They may have been shit, but there were a labor of love from Lucas, even if the end product was goon-y/bad dialog.

That schedule looks really fast-paced, I think this would be nightmare with kids. No time to really enjoy (most activities are 30min or so). They really must go through that "vacation" like sheeps to the slaughter.

Disney is just going for the quantity over quality route, hoping to bombard guests with so much shit at once that they might automatically think the experience was great at the end because they "saw so much". Even if the price makes no sense.

I'll admit I don't have kids myself, but I imagine that this would be a lot easier for them than a real vacation. Going through a bunch of hot and cramped museums and restaurants isn't easy for some adults, which is part of the reason Consoomerworld exists at all. Giving the kids something to do that isn't quite so "boring" (look over there, it's Han Solo!) based in a central location to avoid travel sounds fairly low maintenance to me.

Sorry to disappoint you but that's a serious, if small, collection and it's not the kind of thing the bank just gives you unsecured loans on. Unless he's borrowing straight capital against a successful business, I dunno where he'd even get loans like that. Additionally, none of those Ferraris are depreciating, although the Bentley could be. I have no clue who this guy is, he's 10 thousand miles away from me, but he's obviously wealthy enough. The level where toys don't imply personal debt is actually pretty low... a boomer with a $100k RV or a $200k boat is likely to be in debt for it, but the guy with a few million dollars in showcar probably isn't.

That F40 (super sick car btw) is a concours winner and it would easily liquidate for a cool million. How much it could get at auction is up for debate, but if it's got all the right papers and an interested buyer, 2 million+ is entirely possible. The market has lost it's mind, basic bitch factory MKIV Supras are now investment purchases, shitty old whaletail Porsches get $50 grand.

That 458 SP is fucking sick too. With the exception of the Bentley, that is a tasteful collection. Absolutely shameful if he doesn't track at least one of them, missing out on tracking a hypersport Ferrari would be unforgiveable. It's just money bro! Also he needs to buy some good lighting because the garage LEDs (?) are raping the fuck out of the color hue, especially the reds.

Agreed, that is a pretty nice collection. Even the Bentley is worth something in its bright red, I've never seen one that colour before (Weak point of the collection though). The guy certainly likes his hardcore Ferraris, I only watched the video for a little bit because I'm not really a fan of this sort of 'Supercar Million Dolla Garage Flex' content, but it looks like the F430 is a Scuderia, the 360 is a Challenge Stradale, and obviously the F40, serious bits of kit.

The market is going crazy, there used to be a time where you could pick up a 360 for less than £30k some years ago but now the lowest price on Autotrader at the moment is £50k. Even the dogshit Mondial is changing hands in the late 20s these days.

Sites like Bring A Trailer & Collecting Cars are partly to blame for this IMO. This new ecosystem of auction sites with featured cars that are in fairness completely immaculate in their presentation, with advert bodies that could fill a small book seem to be attracting the tech bro/reddit obsessive crowd and the breathless retards at sites like Jalopnik pumping out headlines about how THIS ASTON DB7 JUST MADE 50K ON BRINGATRAILER seem to be artificially inflating values.
