It really is the new white man's mid-life crisis. Goodbye sports car, hello spinny dress.

Realistically though, what else does Jim have in his life? It's easy to point at the 14k a month --many would rightly envy that kind of financial security-- but people like Jim really are proof of the adage 'money can't buy happiness'. If Jim wasn't talking about troon shit, what else could he talk about?

He hates his job, hates the country he lives in, hates the country he comes from, presumably hates the body he has ruined...all he has is his Boglins, his deadend wrestling 'career' and his troon LARP. No wife, no kids, no fulfilling career, no prospects of a happy future; just a limbo of consoomerism, medical bills and degeneracy he's now too old, broken and notorious to break out of.

It's cheaper and easier to buy a wig and back-alley hormones than it is to shell out for a Dodge Ram or some other truck.

I was going to say it's probably more ecologically responsible, but things being what they are I'm sure those hormone pills have some sort of hidden environmental impact we'll only hear about when peak trans is achieved and the media pivots against them. As it always does with its darlings.

It’s a shame it’s not just the old kind of mid life crisis since Jim would probably be a lot happier with a fancy new car while sleeping with some trashy small town wrestling fans but people like Jim are probably terrified of any #metoo allegations.

That self loathing is ultimately what will kill him. When one becomes so lacking in inner spirit that they turn to debauchery to cope, what they're left with is staring into the abyss of their choices. They rage and scream and ultimately become consumed by their own grief wondering how it happened to them.
Jim going troon I think is his way of coping with the collective insanity of the lockdowns and the darkness of the choices. Not letting go of his despair but instead holding onto it has twisted him so much inside, so much that outside forces convinced him that he could be a woman.

I couldn't agree more. I can't imagine how crushing the weight of realisation must be for people like Jim and Moviebob when it becomes clear, not just that they've fucked up, but that there's practically no way back for them. It even kind of justifies the trooning out, because why not at this point. What has he got to lose?

Unironically: Very sad, many such cases.

In the world of video games, Jim could be counted on to enjoy two things: the latest Dark Souls and the latest Warriors.

Sekiro has changed Souls enough so Jim no longer enjoys it and wants an easy mode and Warriors has been ruined unless a third party comes in to roll back KT's changes for a reskin and he's too old to find something new he enjoys. Placing these on the timeline of degeneracy, these might be the catalysts for Jim trying to solve all his problems through pretending to be a woman via Little Britain
