Chris court appearance

If Chris takes the stand, his lawyer is a moron.
Defense lawyers don’t even want their sensible, stable, intelligent defendants to take the stand. This guy certainly knows better. Asking for an evaluation at the first hearing shows that he has a rough sense of what he’s dealing with.

Man, am I late for this thread. Its bizarre, you know, I gave up on following chris for a year or two outside of the ocassional glimpse because I thought he became too "a dime a dozen" given so many weirdos like him are around now. However, oh boy, what a way to return to Christory, I feel like rewatching Geno's documentary from Part 1 onwards again (I stopped because he is mostly following Chris's extremely boring Twitter phase).

With that said, I began to ask myself and hopefully someone can answer, did we get any updates on any weens/trolls/white knights/"cultists" Chris was currently dealing with? I'd like to imagine most of them went into full damage control mode and are erasing their ties to Chris as much as humanly possible (not easy when almost everything related to Chris is documentated and pretty much immortalized) or to suddenly claim the high moral ground and say that "I just cant be tied to Chris anymore after this 'tragedy'. Now shut up about him or Im privating my account for a few weeks" but I know that they are a LOT of retards amongs them that dont know when to quit so Im legit curious.

It's not the call of the defense attorney. It's a choice the D gets to make along with going to trial, taking a plea, speaking at his own his sentencing (called allocution), or filing an appeal.

If he decides NOT to testify the judge may colloquy him on if he understands he has an absolute right to testify.

The more you know.

Christory became Chanobyl. Welcome to the Dimension Merge

Forget the state of the house; is Chris Chan's criminal history and infamy worth having a burglary conviction on your own record?
Indeed many would brave these trials, hoping if not to steal then at least to glimpse what must have been there, somewhere: that liquor of decades of compacted weeb shit, like hoarder Chernobylite; the fabled autistic ambergris;--to drink the warm light of that chalice and leave rich men.

Will everyone please quit trying to talk sense into idiots who are dumb enough to break into Casa Incesto? The more dumbasses to laugh at, the better. I don't understand being on this site and not wanting to see the biggest, costliest, deadliest dumpster fire imaginable. The only thing funnier and more well-deserved than Chris ruining his own life is so-called "normal" people doing the same "for the lulz." If someone is mentally deficient enough to commit a crime and brag about it online, they deserve whatever they get, whether their name is Chandler or Internet Rando no. 86927.
Yeah, the dam has burst. I can’t really wag my finger and scold anyone looking for souvenirs or just wanting to poke around out of curiosity because this is one of the most insane stories I’ve ever heard from beginning to end. I mean, damnit, I’m a mature, professional adult and my inner sperg still deep down wants to run down the street screaming “JULAAAY!” Like a lunatic. Any of this is obviously a bad idea, but I’m not gonna pretend that it’s crazy to want to look closer at such a spectacular train wreck

No media coverage probably means no recording devices whatsoever. Someone will probably have to go into the courtroom (and in the most unobtrusive way possible) bring a notepad and take notes as best they can. That local newspaper reporter for the arraignment did a pretty good job getting the highlights; don’t know the specifics but this may be the play since Chris has a right to a public trial if they don’t plea out.

lol this is the best possible timeline
Considering how someone as delusional as Chris only raped his mother as opposed to murdered the neighbor's kid, I would say that while this isn't the best timeline, it certainly could have been worse. He is a large, grown man who is barely connected to reality. This could have been so much worse. Mental illness is no joke and we as a society really ought to spend more effort treating it.

At least that won't be a possibility in jail. Long term stays in regional jail he'll have his own cell away from the admin block, a chance to watch TV in the rec room and his meals will be given to him thru the door. Really jail so long as he behaves himself will be a year of adult day-care with only a few risky moments of some wife beater bubba or dwi Dylan smacking him around for putting MLP or loud house on the rec room tv.
This part of his incarceration is the happy fun part. It only gets worse from here, whether it's to prison or to some snake pit of a loony bin. No, he probably won't get raped and murdered but he will not have a fun time.
Benvenuto Cellini stabbed his brother’s murderer to death and killed a goldsmith in rage.
The first doesn't even sound particularly bad to me. Also blood feuds were not terribly uncommon in his time.
