Don't underestimate people's laziness. It would be one thing if Discord had a built in 'delete all messages' function, but afaik you can only delete entire servers, not DMs, and even then I think Discord still saves the data. This might not seem important, but if you are sending 1000 messages/day it could take a couple hours just to clean those up. Even the services that automatically delete messages typically can only do about 0.5 messages/second (at least the ones I have seen).

It's unfortunate that your hatred of glowies has essentially blinded you from understanding how the world really works. Putting all her other flaws aside, Bella is a person who is literally incapable of not lying about anything. She is the sort of person who would leak classified information to the PLA just for shits and giggles. The best Isabella "Bella" Janke can hope for in life is getting a mediocre desk warmer job somewhere in one of Dad's companies, where the only people she can harm is her coworkers.

I think a lot of it is just for shock value. I doubt they ate a hamster, for example. They did, however, forge fake IDs and vaccine receipts, and obstruct a title IX investigation, and killed the doxhound. There's plenty here that I'm 99% sure is real. I think a lot of the people working behind the scenes are trying to sort the wheat from the chaff.
I think Discord does actually take steps to prevent this kind of automation, so it might not be as trivial as a piece of code that takes an hour to write, but regardless a Compsci student should probably be able to do this as a little project.
