It's very inconvenient, but AFAIK Verified and marked users lose access to manual edits/deletion to prevent wanton removal of content from the site. For minor stuff, you might be able to get a mod to fix it by reporting with context, but it's best not to worry too much.

Telling Chris he had to rape Barb in order to ascend to Goddess of Cwcville or whatever is 100% something she both could and would do.

That is genuinely a possibility. People did note when the audio first dropped that at points it did sound like Chris was reading off a script and not talking how he normally does, and this was dismissed as a cope at the time.

I mentioned this when I was transcribing her phone calls, it got my hackles up because she talks EXACTLY like a psycho girl I knew (except with an American accent). They have a certain cadence and way of talking about things that seems off in a way that's hard to explain. But once you've encountered it once, you'll spot it again.

I'm glad you managed to extricate yourself from her with minimal fuss. You've learned a lesson from this - if you ever encounter someone who reminds you of Portobella ever again, run the other way.
