So he must have announced his transition in the last several months. In which case aberdeenwa.gov is moving about as quickly as you'd expect from a municipal government website. They've changed the name he used to run for city council — I don't know how that's allowed; wouldn't the new name confuse the public? They probably haven't gotten around to updating the photo because all the council members are pictured next to the American flag, so they'd need to schedule a separate shoot just to get him supporting America in lipstick.

Nathan Kennedy did
a Q&A when he was elected to the city council in 2019. It's magnificent in retrospect:

Rationally. Courtesy. Reasonable compromise.
And shame on him — as a small business owner, he knows it's scummy to try to get another small business outrage mobbed out of existence.
As for the nature of his small business?

You're shocked, I'm sure.
Despite changing his name to Tiesa Meri Meskis in every other part of his life, including in his public-facing city council role, he hasn't updated his own website to celebrate his new fantasy novel dream name. It's © 2021 at the bottom, so it isn't an abandoned page, either. I guess plain old Nathan Kennedy sounds like a more trustworthy IT guy.
