Kind of a shame, that series got so many new people into tabletop RPGs, but like everything else it degenerated into Spoony being a bit of a gatekeeping cock while bemoaning his fellow players for being gatekeeping cocks.

You can just tell he was the sort of DM who had his favourite players and was a total shit to the rest of them.

I didn't get into D&D till 5E (up till then it was mostly Runequest and Call of Cthulhu that I'd played) so most of his D&D lore stuff kinda went over my head. But yeah, listening to him power trip about how he just kept "going through a lot of innkeepers" until his "3d6 in order" got his stats high enough for a powerful multiclass was ridiculous because he was so self-congratulatory about it. By that point he might as well have just opted for the point buy system he slagged off so fiercely. Nowadays so many people just mulligan their dice rolls the same way he did that you end up with low level characters who feel anything but low level, which is all he was doing.

Cliffnotes: Spoony explains the incident where Miles shot that guy who'd tried to kill him three times, and you're probably like "yep, fair enough, the man was doing his job and acted in self-defense" but then he starts ranting about how you shouldn't piss Miles off because he's a badass with a gun. He could've easily stopped at the "my brother's a hero" angle but he just had to be a trifling bit too edgy about it.

I think he's so deeply humiliated by this experience that he's afraid to admit that it's happening, just like his foreclosure. His previous tweets about having to move back came off as angry and ashamed.

He is right to be ashamed. I just looked at the pics, and this is a really nice house for a reasonable price.
Even after April left, if he just had a schedule of his shitty livestreams with some vlogs in between, he would have been able to afford it.
Or could have gotten a roommate who could have helped with payments.
As pathetic as he already was, he still had the option to make a living out of his simps, it would have just taken something like a 10 hour workweek of sitting on his ass playing vidya on camera or rambling about movies like a crazy hobo.
Now he is in his 40s, unemployable, with a very toxic online footprint and a formerly loyal fanbase that now hates him for being such a cunt.
I don't know what Miles or his parents can even do at this point to get him to turn his life around without him just dying in the gutter.
