From the study of Anneke Lucas, a survivor of Belgian CP and sex trafficking, she explains that the process is to be broken in by perpetrators to commit terrible acts. So where there children congregated together to be exploited, the children are encouraged / taught to hurt one another. This is not just so that they will "identify" with their perpetrators in a grandiose sense; nor fawning; it inspires a sense of absolute brokenness and worthlessness because they believe that they are perpetrators also.
There can never be enough excuses for what she's done. She learned this. Someone taught her. Something happened to her. This is not normal.
And unfortunately, something happened to Fiona as well , and that is NOT a thing we should EVER have known. You've just re-exploited a person if you out their abuse. Fiona was used.
