That's administratively easy, doesn't really touch Chris or the internet, critical in light of other students coming forward about their experiences with her, and, if this becomes a news item, it looks okay in terms of the media's slavish obsession with social justice. Instead of spending two weeks trying (and failing) to understand the totality of her activities, this can be done quickly before the semester begins in the upcoming weeks (classes begin August 23rd). Hell, tuition is due on the 16th. Axing her before that would probably make things easier all around for TTU.
