While boiling a hamster alive is a sign of a psychopath serial killer its not actually illegal anywhere. The law has never seen fit to protect rodents. Many people buy hamsters to feed to snakes.

Add to that the fact that a discord screenshot is not really valid for an actual police investigation since not only it is easy to falsify but you also have no official way to prove she is the holder of that account, if not by contacting discord itself and conducting an official investigation.

Also, torturing small animals is a clear sign of a psychotic disorder and any responsible uni should take some form of action when they find out about it.

I guess the question is whether or not her parents end up abandoning her because of this. My guess is "no."
