Tumblr nose is a ten year old meme based on a weird tendency for artists on tumblr to draw almost all their characters with rosacea or something so that they had very red noses, ears, and cheeks. To be fair, I'm unsure if it was supposed to be rosacea (celebrating skin disorders wouldn't be unheard of for tumblr, they also loved to portray vitiligo) since it was so prevalent in tumblr art it probably wasn't intended to be a disorder; it could have just been an artistic choice similar to the way that so many early cartoons had noses be a different color than the rest of the skin, but the tumblr version is all in the coloring so this is still distinct.

I'm suddenly recalling a phenomenon that resembles the tucute phenomenon. I used to watch fat acceptance posts and something that a lot of them would do was say that they were anorexics. These were obese people who were not in denial about being fat, just about fat being unhealthy. I always assumed that they were either lying or that they were possibly anorexic in the distant past, but it could be like the tucute phenomenon where they assume that any dissatisfaction with their sex/weight is gender dysphoria/anorexia ignoring the fact that these manifestations of body dysmorphic disorder specifically require this dissatisfaction to be so great that the person engages in self-harming or self-destructive behavior.

This has been a make up trend that fades in and out with both subcultures and current cultures. For instagrammers, you can find articles dating back to 2017 on red nose rouge. For cosplayers, some did it to mimic cute art of their favorite characters, others did it as part of Fairy Kei (fairytale cute) /Mori Kei (forest girl cute)/Menhera (ill girl cute) fashion subcultures of Japan. My guess is that this person was/is in the cosplay scene/is a giant weeb and is doing make up like that to feel like a cute elf or other magic creature (in that picture the person is wearing elf ears).

Then it was raging drama, crying fits on the job, and a vocal disdain for real women who according to him, have it infuriatingly easy in life just waking up in the morning and not being a man. His entire life was about womaning, Trans activism, whining, shrieking about oppression, and his sexual orientation went from straight male, to "I'll try anything with anyone". The commercials for this show feel so self-congratulatory, like they knew they were making The Handmaid's Tale part two. But it's not enough!

Now, I don't know what the main premise of the show is beyond the inciting incident, but I would imagine it will eventually delve into reproduction. What would a trans man have to contribute to that? The When Posting Goes Wrong series was good, I wish he'd do more, but the big Woke Disclaimers in the videos were probably a good sign that he didn't truly think all of Tumblr Discourse was worthy of ridicule. This stuff is funny not because it's a clear misinterpretation of witchcraft or HIV but because people care about it at all. Y: The Last Man is mainly a road trip adventure as they try to uncover what caused all the Y chromosomes to die and also protect the last two Y chromosomes (the named man and also a monkey that survives) from the people who find out about it and thus want it/want to eliminate it/etc. It tries to show a society where women have to step in and replace all the men. Lesbianism is touched on as more than just reproduction but ideas like comfort, relationships, a need for forms of stability, etc. The trans man in the comic was just a throwaway "look, I acknowledged they exist!" But they weren't really key to the plot or anything, it sounds like the show is playing that up more because it's 2021 and you have to. They'd have to throw away everything about the plot if you could just "I'm a woman now!" and survive it. Of course, the troons want denial about the Y chromosome having (or not having) anything on it that the others don't.

edit: Then again if I was writing it, I'd add a warlord who claims to be a transwoman, but is just a woman who used to be a transman. If they're going to complain anyway give em something to really complain about.
