Star Trek - Space: The Final Frontier

Does anybody have links to a fan edit of the Picard show? Want to watch it with my dad, but I dont have the heart to show him the real thing.
Why would you subject him to that horror-show?

Even the TNG movies would be better. I just rewatched Insurrection with my mom. The random events, coupled with the realization that nothing will resolve in a satisfying way, caused me to enter a fugue state. Mom liked it, though. It has familiar faces and pretty colors and that's all that matters.

If I made an animated Trek it wouldn't be fucking Lower Decks. It would be Warship Voyager, where Janeway uses science and engineering to conquer her way home, not unlike Living Witness.

And a whole season devoted to Year of Hell.

He wants to see it and I remember general grin said he was trying to make an edited version that was palatable. If anybody knows where to look for that sort of thing id appreciate it.

Always wanted a mirror universe show.
Maybe. I think DS9 is an example of "too much of a good thing."

ENT getting canceled is where everything went wrong in my book.
Trip was interesting, but Jolene pretty much sucks at playing a Vulcan.

If you ask me, the rot started with the Paramount/Viacom merger. At times it felt like the studio was pushing to see how much fans will put up wit. It's clear the actors were capable of doing interesting things; but eventually they'd hit a point where they were defeated by the script.

I finally got around to watching Nemesis for the first time. I will say watching it with your mom will prompt a lot of questions you haven't thought of. Like,
"[Riker] grew back his beard!" (because they think the audience is stupid)
"Where did the [Romulan] woman go?" (only 1 ship can fire on Shinzon at a time)
"Why did they crash the ship [into the Scimitar]?" (because they always crash the Enterprise in the movies)
"In the real world, people don't blow up and then come back!"

Stewart was bright enough to veto the Romulans in Insurrection. He wrote to the producers with alarm, stating that they were trading down from the Borg. Yet here they are, one film later.

Finally got bored with Star Trek Online and deleted it. Not even creating an all-tranny crew for funsies could rescue me from the monotony.
I fucked around with STO for about an hour and a half a billion years ago when it first went f2p and ran like, literally like Quake 1 settings by default.
it seemed sorta fun for free, is it still similarly toaster-style?

DS9 dropped the ball on their mirror universe episodes... but you know what they say, the better the Trek show is in general, the worse the mirror universe episode/s is/are.
It also may be the case that it had 5 mirror universe episodes compared to 2 each for TOS/ENT and zero for voyager. Seems STD has had a total of 9 episodes with seven in one season. Talk about beating a dead horse.

I only liked the mirror universe DS9 because of short haired Dax.

For me it was evil slutty Kira.
It was cool to see her switch places with the real Kira ("Resurrection"). Must have been weird to use the Intendant's voice while wearing the red uniform.

Sisko liked the haircut so much, he went to bed with her in record time. And it's never brought up again??

The Agony Booth got it right years ago: Ira was just trolling us. It makes perfect sense in that context. Bashir shooting Fontaine (just like fans had always wanted to do), Ferengi all over the place, everyone is gay, etc. It's live-action fanfiction.

There's some good stories if you play for long enough, but the voice acting is hilariously bad most of the time when you're not dealing with actual Trek actors, and the character models are still janky as hell. I got tired of coming home at night and trying to get the daily missions done, which interfered with my sleep schedule.
