Kinda like, uuuuh, the usage of words (and hashtags) should be defined by the ones who use it, making it established terms everyone understands, not by some thin skinned individual white knights or individuals who can't look past their own thrown shadow. I gotta be honest with you guys...I was searching old tweets expecting superblindman and friends to be vehemently in favor of removing the blind playthrough tag in December 2020 or so, but what I actually discovered, I am not sure if it is more or less sad or pathetic...

The Blind Playthrough tag ban was actually just virtue signaling by twitch and between SBM and ItsClareyVR, neither of them were supporting it in the first place and these guys got used once again by Twitch to improve their brand image. :story:

Here's one of the most high-profile tweets from someone who is the community and creator marketer at Twitch, and the comments are comprised of a large number of cucks who say "I am not blind and I am not offended by this but this is still good because it's offensive because I say so, even though I myself am not offended"

Keep an eye on this event, is in December 2021. As far as i know this is not at all related to disabilities, but may be embracing that route for virtue signaling as ya boy is a juror for this year's event.

Joke aside Brandon is the number one/two longest "viewing" fan Phil has. I don't recall him seeing him around before Phil was on Twitch yet he has been around for awhile.

Brandon has potential to put accessibility gaming on the map and to push it in the right direction. The only things holding him back is the entitlement he pushes and his love for Phil.

Phil uses literal wheelchairs and people with disabilities like Brandon to pretend that it some how makes him a good man. Shit you could lead an AA meeting and still be there to take people home for "coffee".

I've said it before maybe here or on YouTube. One day SMB will have to leave Phil to reach to greater peaks. That will be on hell of a day.

I think not being able to see Phil is what makes it easier to stick to him for so long. Even better would be to not being able to hear him, then it would be super easy to tolerate him. I think SBM is ride or die with Phil, he will stick with him to the end.

They also have some weird symbiotic clout relationship. Blind man can glean some of dsp's open-wallet whales, and Phil can use blind man (like the game companies do) to show how virtuous and caring they are to less privileged.

its not at all a symbiotic relationship. dsp only started acknowledging 'assessibility' when superblindman announced that he was consulting at naughty dog or something. phil congratulated him and the very next stream was talking about how great it is that games have features for the blind and blind that and blah blah blah.

to me its very transparent toadying to sbm by dsp. in my view it seemed like phils trying to position himself adjacent to people with disabilities and act as though hes some kind of advocate for them in gaming.

i know that sounds like a lot to attribute to someone like dsp but he does have a certain short sighted low cunning that might make him think something like the above would work.

I guess Brandon and lard wife are ok with Blindie being used as a cripple prop whenever convenient. Blindie already has the ego of a superstar, even before becoming a token disability figure.

This guy is fucking insufferable. I'd love to see what his actual contributions were to TLOU2. I bet the people at Naughty Dog all drew straws and the shortest was forced to spend the entire development cycle watching him walk slowly into the wall while dribbling all over the pad and coming up with ways to chaperone him through each level. No wonder they were always complaining about a terrible work environment when it was someone's job to spend years pandering to this self important fuck acting like he's the Rosa Parks of blind gaming.
