Giving my experience working with zoomers, my opinion is that they are unable to see beyond what's in front of them. I don't know if it is because they are used to instant gratification or they are too lazy to think beyond, but they have a very limited point of view. It was surprising. I mean, when you are a teenager-young adult, there's an inherent tendency to focus on the right now. However, Zoomers take it to an extreme never seen before.

Zoomers are basically everything that sucks about millennials but dialed up to 11. We at least had a childhood mostly free of the internet and are a little more acclimated to having an actual social life and are capable of separating the internet from the real world. These kids aren't. This shit is literally their entire cultural and social experience, and it is very clearly fucking with their heads. You look at rates of depression and anxiety in zoomers for example and it is through the fucking roof because all of them live such obscenely public lives and are constantly being bombarded with messages from corporate and government entities that they are too young and mentally fucked to grasp.

We're talking about kids who spent their childhoods on ipads watching youtube videos and browsing 4chan while posting every single waking moment of their lives on social media. Of course they're mentally fucked up, jaded, and incapable of sincere expressions of emotion. They literally only know how to engage with others through irony because in a world where everything you say or do is immediately vetted by potentially millions of people actual sincerity only gets you mocked as being a cringey jackass.

This generation is going to enter the adult world emotionally castrated and perpetually paranoid.

My issue with zoomers isn't bad manners and contempt for authority, it's that they're too well mannered and differential to authority. Because the internet is basically the ultimate helicopter parent and all of them are terrified of any genuine display of emotion or rebellion. At least boomers almost overthrew the government of France in an anarchist revolt, these kids just shitpost

As an older zoomer I pretty much mellowed out when I got to my mid 20s. I work, rent an apartment, and I recently went back to school. I don't know why older generations go hard on the kids, especially Millennials who pretty much ruined the 2010s for everyone. There kids, there supposed to be weird.
