I guess there's no point being MATI, but it is kind of infuriating that when the leopard finally ate Becky's face, the lesson she drew wasn't that a culture of combing through everyone's past words and deeds relentlessly and punishing them for the slightest indication of wrongthink is bad. No, she still thinks that's fine. The real problem here is that no one consulted supreme arbiter Becky as to whether Daniel was an acceptable cancel target, because Becky forgives his past infractions therefore he's absolved.
