Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

That is some serious entitlement there. If she thinks it's really no big deal to call in the order, she should do it herself. And her mother defending her is absolutely insane. I hope her mom feels guilt for helping to kill her spoiled daughter with all that enabling.
Watching this clip made me cringe so fucking hard... getting serious narc mom/golden child/scapegoat triangle vibes.

I hope and pray Lizzo’s new upcoming single flops very hard. Like her floppy dimpled cottage cheese ass.
That's what you call a sad ass. It looks sad.

For about ten years Mo'Nique was everywhere. Sherri Shepherd had her day in the sun, too, short though it was. Lisa Lampanelli was that drunk fat chick who blows black guys; that was her schtick.

Nobody cares about them anymore. Focus on talent first, and worry 'challenging beauty standards' later. The latter will follow the former.

I wonder if she has some kind of underlying medical condition, if she really is on pills, or if it's something else.

TikTok Time
First up, good news from the fattyverse, by the way. Remember these giants?

Well apparently they're putting in a conscious effort to lose weight. That's right folks, the Alours Dance folks are putting in more effort than "Losing weight is my full-time job" April.
Shoutout to Michelle McDaniel because I learned about this from her vid (and I'm not unconvinced she has an account here).

If the lady or the sister read this thread, keep it up the good work.
Please make this one believe that is possible to lose weight.

Ok, what the fuck am I looking at? This gorl has another ass growing or what? Did she shit herself?

The world they live in is so different. They must have realized boycotting stores you CAN'T BUY FROM doesn't really effect the store:

Quite a protest, boycotting shit that you don't buy anyway.

So, what about women who are smaller than a (vanity sized) 00 or XS and are fed up with being sized out of the ever-ballooning offerings at mainstream retailers? If they boycott, it's discrimination and violence, right?

I've actually seen a lot of girls complain recently about brands that formerly catered to skinny girls (like Brandy) sizing up to appeal to protests so they can't even fit in the clothes anymore and need to find different shops.

Examples are in order of store in list and are of outfits that exist in the largest size. Was hoping they'd actually show models for laughes, but seems any place that sells these sizes most never model them on people that size.

Now THIS is vanity sizing!

Universal Standard is anything but standard sizing.
7XL?! Seriously?! If they're wider than a front row seat in a Ford F-150, they should put the fork down and get help!

This is true. For me, sizes becoming adjusted to be larger and larger just makes me end up sending shit back because what I fit in a year or two ago at a certain brand isn’t accurate anymore.

Take a look at some of the most popular fast fashion websites (forever 21, urban outfitters) They have obviously plus sized models and when you look at the description it says they’re wearing a size small….

When it comes to fashion, most brands start their sizes according to the average size of their core customer base. If most of the people shopping at a store have an average waist size of 35 inches, that will be their default medium, and every other size will adjust to match that baseline medium size, a small will be 33 inches, an XS will be 31 inches, a L will be 37 inches, etc. You can't do anything about it if a company just sees a bunch of fatties buying all their L to XXL's and decides to market them as the new mediums, a lot of companies just want money and don't care about having a certain image or about catering to a smaller niche. I would suggest looking for brands outside the US if you're having this problem (like european brands, and possibly some canadian ones), and if you're extra small in size there's always the asian fashion market.

Very true. My TMI/whiny post aside, like you pointed out it’s all about money at the end of the day.

I do have to wonder if the “healthy at every size” fat acceptance mentality is strictly American bullshit or if it’s everywhere now.

I can't imagine what it must feel like to be challenging yourself to a physical activity (even going out of your way to travel to compete); meanwhile, your obese wife who is "gradually healing" and "committed to healthy weight loss slowly" is filming you like a complete ass from the sidelines.

And OF COURSE they brought their pre-made meal prep microwave meals with them. They seem pretty incapable of feeding themselves otherwise.
Yes the pre-made meals. What was the point in doing grocery hauls from Sprouts and Aldi?? She just throws money away and then talks about saving money by getting an RV for these Spartan races. ?????

With the exception of the well publicised (worldwide) outrage over the Tess Holiday Cosmopolitan cover, I'd never heard of HAES in Australia, and definitely never been aware of any Australian promoting obesity. While we do have a few very large folk, people over about 400lb seem to be a rarity here and they tend to hide away at home away from judging eyes....they certainly aren't exhibitionists. In my life, both real and cyber, I've also never come across a person that isn't appalled by the concept. I just assume there are a few people who support it who are very vocal in their support, and have found ways to monetise the concept, trying to build up a following of extra large people looking for confidence from outside of themselves. I always suspected this was another "only in America" situation type deal. 😂

Yep, my experience too. But the language of 'anti fatphobia' is starting to sneak its way into SJW younger skewing and extremely online feminist circles, at uni. I had a very overweight classmate in my arts degree who did a solo performance art dance piece based on ragen Chastain and how she had inspired her.. I'm not even kidding. That was in 2012. It was called something similar to 'dancing with fat'.
But it's very fringe.
I mean, everyone calls our prime minister fat, and he's a BMI.. 29? In the US that'd be just normal. While Scott Morrison gets called a lard ass, and all our former PMs have a tradition of exercising in public on walks or runs. Except Scott Morrison. Lard ass.

I just got around to watching this and felt the same. She's like a fat mom at a soccer game. Spartan races seem like the ultimate shitlord activity, and when she films you can see other wives on the sidelines who are all fit. He must be so embarrassed to have her heavy breathing blubber ball ass waddling along in neon orange workout pants, screeching "good job babe!"

It was hilarious when she showed the dinner her husband ordered at the steakhouse and explained that he was "loading up" before the race, then she panned to her own plate for a split-second which had a larger steak and more potatoes than his. She didn't say what she was "loading up" for
