Jaron Seth Bloshinsky / Jazz Jennings / I Am Jazz - Puberty Blockers: Not Even Once

No; it's video (they're moving). But you're right; it's a different clip.
You picked the nit. Good for you, I guess?

Jeanette turned to her CLOSE family member who just happened to be a trans counselor who convinced her that allowing two-year-old Jazz to transition was the right thing to do because she believed it.
Did you ever wonder why Jeanette ran to someone who was (in terms of being in the 'medical field') barely out of diapers and not to some closer family members, like her father who was an established MD? Dr Jacob Joseph Barie (a.k.a. Grandpa Jack) specialised in Diagnostic Radiology, but holds a degree of Medical Doctor nonetheless.

Jacqueline Phyllis Bialkin's (a.k.a Grandma Jackie) father and brother and first fiancé/husband were medical doctors as well.

Dr George Bialkin: no correct info I could find.

Agreed, none of those men were practicing at the time when Jazz was an infant, but there is no shortage of MDs on Jeanette's side of the family. And asking your retired dad for medical advice isn't such a crazy idea, wouldn't you say? Jeanette purposefully sought out someone who would go along with the transgender idea.

Oh, no... Ari is wearing Sander's "Black Trans Lives Matter" t-shirt to make her big arrival at med school. Is she a low-key alley after all?
med schools are woke now. A doctor who is a guest lecturer from an ivy league school (cannot remember if it is yale or harvard) got into trouble for going on fox news and saying there are only two biological sexes. Ari would be double cancelled for being related to a troon & refusing to toe the line.

I mean it isn't a coincidence that the media was able to find a bunch of doctors who said anti-racism protests were okay because "racism is a public health emergency". This shit has been going on for years.

If you need anything important done to you medically seek out an oldfag nearing retirement for a 2nd opinion. Young MDs have been indoctrinated.

I wouldn't seek out a urologist for migraine headaches. Cousin Debbie specialized in gender-bending, which behavior Jazz was exhibiting. The dissertation narrative, as I recall it, also said Jeanette wasn't exactly in a panic about it or anything -- casually mentioning it to her at a family bar-b-q -- at least until Debbie filled her in on the suicide stats. If Jeanette was "purposefully seeking out someone who would go along with the transgender idea," how convenient that a first cousin at a family gathering just happened to fit that bill! Also how very unlikely a scenario...

It's really beyond me why people continue to argue about this.

Again, it doesn't absolve Jeanette of responsibility for the debacle. It merely explains its genesis.

Ari does what any smart hostage would do. She spouts the party line, smiles for the camera, and promptly runs the fuck away the first chance she gets.
I feel relieved for her, no more camera crew and conversation about Jazz's amhole during lunch. I give her few years to cut contact with this crazy family and be finally free. :optimistic:

Medical school, residency, and the first few years of her career will be so time-consuming that she also has a convenient way to avoid traveling home for holidays and other gatherings. But I still wonder if she is going to be on board with giving kids blockers and hormones.

There’s not really any reason to believe Debbie’s version of events. Maybe an exchange happened at a BBQ but that doesn’t mean that’s the full story. She wrote about it many years later. I’ve never seen Jeanette mention Debbie when discussing Jazz’ story and we have no reason to believe other professionals weren’t consulted or that Debbie even introduced the concept to her.

Anyway, the person in this thread has consistently taken this story as gospel, added their own interpretations (like implying Debbie did it just so she’d have a thesis topic despite writing it years later and it not even being about Jazz’ diagnosis) and presented it as fact to new people here that TRANSGENDER COUNSELOR COUSIN DEBBIE transed Jazz.

Jazz is all over Debbie's dissertation. Have you even read it?

I didn't say she "transed Jazz so she could write it," but she does use Jazz's story in it; as I recall, pages 25-35 are all about Jazz (by name), and I think she's mentioned later, as well.

Can you explain to me why you find this so threatening?

I'm baffled.

Carole Hooven is interviewed on the latest Blocked and Reported.

I could see Ari going in either direction.

The amount of sheer human misery that Jazz has gone through has to be thunk-provoking insofar as whether trans kids "suffering" from their dick is better or worse than trans kids ACTUALLY suffering from getting their crotches butchered.

This is the official "Jennings" version of events of how Jazz got diagnosed as transgender,
as can be read in the book "Being Jazz - My Life as a (Transgender) Teen":
  • Jeanette, who has a master's degree in clinical counseling, had her suspicions that there was more to it (than just liking pink and wearing dresses) when Jaron asked when "the Good Fairy, to turn his penis into a vagina" would come. She opened her copy of the DMS and saw the light.
  • She then took "all of her information" to Jaron's paediatrician, who recommended they'd visit a child psychologist.
  • After doing some research into the recommended psychologist and not being satisfied with them (they didn't specialise in kids with gender identity disorder), Jeanette managed to find Dr. Sheryl Brown, a psychologist who treated transgender adults. (It is telling that they specifically went for the transgender 'specialists'). She confirmed Jeanette's suspected diagnosis of Jaron. However, she wasn't comfortable treating a child that young.
  • Enter Cousin Debbie, a licensed mental health counselor, who went on to get a doctorate in counseling transgender youth because of Jaron (subject in her thesis). She introduced them to Dr. Marilyn Volker, a therapist who worked with both gender issues and kids. Jaron liked her right away (and I assume so did Jeanette). That's where three-year-old Jaron first heard the word "transgender" and was finally allowed to transition.
This all happened before Jazz was THREE.

Jeanette did some diagnosing of herself and then sought out therapists whose expertise was Gender Identity Disorder.

Marvin Bloshinsky, Greg’s dad, is also a retired OBGYN.
Thanks for that little bit of info.

The fact that Jazz was three really is what clinches this into JESUS CHRIST WHAT THE FUCK territory. Regardless of who was responsible, three year olds lack solid understandings of reality, consequences, or even what they like or dislike. You might as well troon out your dog because they're about on the same level of awareness and sentience.

That was the age that Jazz got the official diagnosis,. It gets worse, Muttnik: the family (meaning Jeanette who planted that memory into the others' minds) has claimed it was clear Jazz was trans at the age of TWO.

The family legend is that Jazz asked, "When is the good fairy going to change my penis to a vagina?" at age two. He was very verbal and precocious...if you believe that...
