I honestly think most of the people who've been following Chris since the beginning feel a certain amount of responsibility for how he turned up. Bella mentioned in her original reddit post I think that the people surrounding Chris were "aggressive" towards anybody who tried to get involved with him and I figure that's why.

If chris killed himself these people would absolutely do everything they could to ruin this person's life, if only because they'd feel responsible.

I actually think that, if she does have BPD, the big disappointment here is probably her father running off around the world, and then step mother and mother orienting themselves more around their career.

At some level, she does seem sad. It wouldn't surprise me if she spent a lot of her time being taken care of by others, nannies, having an entire house or apartment to herself, and developing a need for constant validation/attention.

The issue that she jumped on negative validation as being a legitimate thing to crave is the big problem in her life.

That might be a part of it if one were to be charitable to Bella a rich kid's syndrome or affluenza might have fuelled her sociopathy and carelessness. There is a lot of speculation about what makes this bitch so nasty whether she was molested at a young age and thats why she dirties herself. It's possible her parents had no idea who she really was due to limited interaction with their child and shuffled her off to other people to look after who also had little idea of what lay below the surface and how she spent her time in online interactions. But you'd think there'd be enough warning signs for her to be sent to some kind of therapy for her pathologies, people don't just become this kind of monster in the span of a couple of years out of high school.

Its possible too that she was heavily controlled by her family as a child and now that she in untethered as an adult she could just start running wild with her worst inclinations and grotesque behaviours.

Edit: Its sort of reminds me of Elliot Rodger, he was on the surface very shy but was struggling with a lot of internal strife that his family couldn't detect combined with parents who weren't as involved as they should have been in providing their son serious intervention and guidance. While Elliot never harmed animals it was confirmed he had watched gore videos of animal torture. And of course we know he murdered people.

You're right as well, Chris didn't "accidentally" pork his mother. I'd point out that they both did fucked up things, but as a result of likely different pathologies.

Chris is pretty sex crazed, opportunistic, and really, really mentally off. I don't think he has a full grip on reality any longer, if he ever had it, and he has a really perverse sex drive.

Bella seems to have a better sense of reality, but one that is still skewed by thrill seeking behavior, perhaps for the thrill of it in some part, but the crux of why she does it, I'd argue, is for attention. She seems very attention driven, and doesn't differentiate negative attention, from positive attention. How she gets the attention is secondary to the attention itself. She must live on in the minds of her classmates and friends, and how does she do that? By being edgy and actually doing some fucked up things in the process.
