Because most of us reject the entire premise of "gender". Im not a cis woman, i dont "identify" myself as a women, i AM one because i was BORN in a female body.Here's the thing: I just don't see how a transwoman's claims on womanhood undermine your own personal claim to womanhood. I do accept that their perspective on femininity is different from a cisgendered woman's though. They can't claim to know what it's like to experience childbirth, periods, etc.
I do agree that transwomen have a much different stake on womanhood (perhaps we should call it transwomanhood instead).
I refuse to use terms as cis and trans. There are women and there are men in dresses. There's nothing else.
