i had heard rumors off and on that bob pulled some strings so Chris could get his driver license, don't hold me to that, but i would not be surprised in the least if that was the case ... but to be fair, while not super common: some folks who are mildly retarded can drive, we had a few clients who were able to read good enough and understand directions enough to drive to certain familiar places, or with simple directions. the IQs of both ladies who drove was in the 60s, and one guy, his IQ was 58 and he actually was taught at his special school to drive since he was able to read, but these people were mentally retarded, they were lucky in a sense that they did not have additional learning disabilities such as dyslexia and the like. also : smart phones, are operated at like pro level by pre school children, and again, many of our clients, some fairly significantly impaired, were able to operate smart devices as they became more mainstream. some of them used adaptive aps and software too
