Autumn Neville / Puppychan / pawpawchan48 / puppkittyfan1 / Wolfertinger666 / Bunnyhazedayz / Salem - Degrading artist, perpetual victim, surrounds herself with a personal army of minors. Chaser for the trans fats, both literally and metaphorically. Tried to commit suicide via blueberry. “Pups gotta eat!” Now a with an equally obnoxious boyfriend.

We have a new design. The new 'shading' technique she's using doesn't really work when the dots are so large I feel like. Maybe if Autumn edited the brush settings she could get them smaller and more clustered.

IDK how I thought this was AT ALL an improvement when I first saw this on my sockpuppet twitter feed, but holy FUCK that polka dot "shading" is atrocious. All I know is that a majority of her art is done on mobile so maybe it looked passable to her but Jesus on a motorbike, the only decent thing about this is the color palate.

as a ibis paint x user, that happens to be the comic book shading. it’s weird that she used it. also autumn is it that hard to use a better brush? it’s like she could make golden shit furry on a paper and she’ll get 10k likes. she’s going to never improve if she’s just shitting out these art pieces and refusing criticism from the small number of her echo chamber about the linework.

At first glance the colors and small wings made me think of Ord from Dragon Tales except way more muted. I just want to know what she got inspired from to compare it to the original.

I've seen multiple artists on Twitter use that polka dot brush to add some texture to their drawings, but it's normally on top of a shaded area instead of being the shading itself. In my opinion, it looks pretty decent when done right.

I like it when artists use the dot tool to give the effect of the comic dot print. It's unique and gives it an aesthetic I find nice.

That being said, I do not like the way Autumn did it. Halftone shading can look nice when done correctly, but she did it not only incorrectly, but lazily. Here are some examples I got when googling "Halftone shading"

Good observation. I felt the dragon being a mail carrier thing was most likely from Pokemon.

For like 0.2 seconds, I thought MAYBE she was putting some effort into her art again and then I saw them wings and horns
I have never seen someone’s art look like it’s both trying so hard and also not giving a fuck at the same time. This is truly a talent.

Here's a kicker. The feet

Was bored at work so I redesigned the dragon lady. How's it look?

I made her a lil safari dragon and tried to give her that classic pre-gunt Puppychan look. I didn't know she was supposed to be a delivery girl until like half way through the drawing, so that's why she isn't one. Too distracted by all the unnecessary bags to notice the caption
