I have run into a number of these people lately that screech how terrible conservatives are, how great Biden's balls taste in their mouth, but refuse to get the jab. Because...reasons...but not because they are questioning the narrative or have anything to do with anyone who might have a critical thought....just....reasons.

She has a half black kid, hates Trump and constantly compares him to Hitler during the mandatory annual holocaust unit, and thinks everyone on the right is racist and hates her kid.
Yet simultaneously, she is the most anti-vaccine person I've ever met. Not just in terms of the Covid vaccine, she hates all vaccines.
Her line of reasoning basically boils down to, "It's my decision, and if your vaccines are so effective then just take them yourself and don't worry about what me and my kid do."

I've never met or even heard of someone on the left who's anti-vaxx, I really thought it was specifically a right wing phenomenon for the longest time, so it caught me off guard when I first heard her start ranting about them.

One and only one, and her reason is that she's trying to get pregnant and doesn't know what effect it would have on the baby since it was basically rushed out into distribution by the government. I guess that's about the only semi-rational reason to not get vaccinated I've encountered.

I know there's a lot of "natural healing" hippie types who are into the anti-vaxx shit, but these days if I run into people like that they are almost always far-right nutjobs who believe George Soros is an interdimensional gay lizard man or something. It's basically just part of republican ideology now, unfortunately.

Really? Maybe this is just because I'm a bong and it's just a difference in culture, but until recently I associated being anti-vaccine with being into stuff like alternative medicine, essential oils, "healing crystals", meditation, etc., in other words it always seemed like more of a white upper-middle class liberal phenomenon. Everyone I know IRL who is against vaccines fits that description, the image of a MAGA-hat wearing, gun-toting boomer being the archetypal anti-vaxxer seems like more of an American thing.

from a fellow needle phobe: getting blood drawn is infinitly worse then getting the jab. Even though id rather take a bullet then get a blood test i didnt have much issue with the bill gates microchipping procedure.

Not to power level but I know many people from the local government (I think "county" would be the same thing in murrican terms) and many of these bitches voted in favor of mandatory vaccinations while not getting jabbed themselves. County level local gov has zero power whatsoever to do any "mandatory vaccinations" of course, so this vote was only a way to publicly declare loud and clear WE LOVE THE ANTICHRIST WE LOVE THE ANTICHRIST.

Most doctors I know haven't been jabbed, they know very well there was never any pandemic since they've been sitting in empty hospitals for months, they also seen enough adverse effects from the jab to empty the syringe in the sink and add themselves to the database and pretend they are good pfizerlings. However since the start of the pandemic the doctor's monthly payment has increased by over 1,000% (literally from <5,000 to 50,000+ in local money lmao) so they keep their mouths shut and pray to their god Satan so that the pandemic never ends
