I've come to realize that a true, confident, and faithful Christian just doesn't even bother to care about such arguments and downplays. They are almost entirely off the mark and I totally understand why it happens because I used to do the same and still do regard some so-called religious people as frauds who want to skip over the suffering and growth and go right to the sanctimonious crap.

People just don't understand it. It is not about punishing others or yourself but reflecting on ones own sin and transgressions, against the self and others. It is taking the needless suffering and misery you feel day to day and understanding why it happens and why you can and must endure it. Once you get to the point where suffering just makes you stronger, you see how simple and amazing life can be. Ask someone who's gone through near-death experiences if they still regard this earthly world and its vices the same way. Who gives a single fuck about what others think about your life and salvation when they are still in the same fallen state you escaped, reasoning from a point of ignorance and indescribable pain? They are stuck relying on the world for everything, including what their existence means.

The categorizations of ideologies being "left" or "right" were made by people who wanted everything they considered bad to be on the right, thus making them wonderful and smart.

after all, a socialist state must at least keep up the pretense of being a positivist project moving towards a hypothetical withering of the state and eventual communism. there is pretty much no reason to believe that the Chinese state has any intention of doing that, nor should there. it makes absolutely no sense for them to do so.

I think the Taliban are pretty based fighting against Globalhomo. It’s just unfortunately so many young white men had to waste their lives fighting for a worthless cause.
