You should improve yourself and live a virtuous life, but one person deciding to read books and lift weights won’t create any social or political change. PPP thinks this docu-series is Nick trying to reframe himself as a naïve child to be rehabilitated/de-radicalized for future career prospects, but I think it exists to inoculate his fans against the Theroux documentary so they don't jump ship when it comes out and the whole AF "movement" is made to look like a joke.


That's why there were all those shots of the cookie monster, his childhood photos, high school certificates, etc... All of that stuff was included to give an emotional hit to his fans when they see it and go "Wow, that's based!" or "I remember that!" Especially the groyper doll and laser-engraved Shalit tweet. The whole point is to pander to his audience.

Another thing: As far as I'm aware, this documentary was the first time he ever officially said he was under FBI investigation. Other times he would say something like "always assume the feds are watching you" or whatever, but actually being the subject of a criminal investigation is a completely different ballpark and I don't think he ever told his supporters this, despite knowing it since February. He might have mentioned it on one of his shows, so I could be wrong, but as far as I'm aware, it's not the case.

Not to get side tracked, but a lot of Latin Mass Catholics were very suspicious of E Michael Jones for his comments on Vatican II and the liturgy. He's an excellent resource on many things. However, I agree with the position of Rights & Duties podcast: E Michael Jones is a controlled quantity meant to lead people talking about the JQ no where. The same Opus Dei investor that financed (finances) Michael Voris simultaneously has been financing E Michael Jones. Yup, Jones definitely has some non-above board motivations.
